I was a patient at UPMC on the cardiac unit.. one of them. I wanted to thank my nurses by buying them a pizza actually a couple. We had a little bit of a communication problem between myself and Domino's. For some reason when the driver got to the hospital he couldn't get through to my phone and it took a while but we worked it out. Several days later. Maybe even the next day, I ordered the same exact items and the person on the other end of the phone told me that his driver is a good driver and a nice guy and I didn't know what that meant, butI was soon to find out. The same exact two pizzas were $10 more than the first two. I thought they were $7.99 a piece turned out he charged me $16.99 a piece and then asked me if I wanted to give the driver a dip so I threw him $5. To make a long story short they had an issue delivering the pizza the first time to a hard-working cardiac unit that was a little busy at first but we got someone down to get the first two pizzas. From my perspective, it just looks like they overcharged me for the pizzas because of the problems that they had the first time. So they decided to gouge me out of an extra $20. But let me tell you what.. all the workers on 4D at UPMC deserved it and I would buy it again and again but not from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never wrote a review for anything, let alone a bad review.. but hereās my first. I have bought pizza from this dominos a few times And this was the first time it took about an hour and a half for my food to be delivered one mile down the road. I explained in the directions box to simply leave the box on a table that is next to a solid black door and the bar I live above. The man, Nick, delivering my food called a little confused about where to go. I explained where the bar was. And when I seen him outside. I shouted out and said āover hereā you can set the food on the table. Sorry for the confusion. And with attitude he says ācould have typed in the right address and I explained, this is the address of my apartment. Barely acknowledging my existence he basically just hopped on his bike and drove away. So I waited an hour and a half for my food, then to be greeted by a rude delivery guy because he was upset he got lost. And the whole time I was nothing but respectful. I understand frustrations but as a server, when dealing with a customer in general, especially a polite one, Iād like the energy I give...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered at about 4:30pm a pizza and wings. After an hour and a half I checked the online tracker which said the food was delivered. I called the store and they said they had no record of the transaction but after pushing harder, they finally said they had the order and apologized that the driver missed it and was "leaving now." An hour later I called back and they said the same thing. The person on the phone seems like they aren't taking me seriously and are speaking to me strangely. I feel like I am being made fun of. It is a snowy night, so I didn't mind if the order was a little later or whatever, but I literally live just blocks away from the store. Even with traffic or snow it would not take this long. If the driver had broken down or something I'd honestly have just accepted that for an answer but now I feel I am being given the run around. Now, I am just going to try to get my money back by filing a complaint with corporate and the store. If not, I will do a card chargeback. (I am also a good tipper but I never put a tip on the receipt until after I receive my food. I was going to give the...
