Sometimes the food is hot and very good. However this evening, the fish was NOT steaming hot, it was in their warming shelf. I don't know how long it had been sitting there, but when it does, the cooking oil saturates the fish coating/breading and then that makes it have a tough/chewy texture and it is just not pleasant to eat and enjoy. I absolutely despise the New packaging in which they serve the meals, Especially for "to go" orders. They used to be served in a cardboard "clamshell" type box. There was enough room to spread your fish or shrimp out, apply sauces etc. OR the sauces/ketchup could be placed in the corner of the box. This basically created a tray, that made it easier to dip into sauces, open a serving of slaw to place in the lid, or maybe cut the fish using the side of your fork. They now have this cheaper type box, that is easily Collapsible. Also the steam from the hot fish allows this new very thin cardboard box to become very soggy from the plastic bag. If u try to hold the box it then becomes very flimsy and hard to hold. The food is on top of one another, no place to put your dipping sauces, set the cole slaw or other sides, especially if eating from your car, possibly your office, thus making it a rather difficult experience. In addition to all this, the old cardboard box somewhat provided a way to soak up excess grease. The newer boxes are flimsy & collapsible. Only a tissue paper is put in the bottom of the box to absorb grease, the little "Crumbly" pieces from the batter often falls out the bottom of the box, makes a mess in your car, as the new box is just so easily able to fold up, can't spread your meal out to enjoy etc... Go back to the OLD CLAMSHELL HEAVIER BOXES!! I truly wish this review would somehow make it to the marketing department for consideration. Two stars on the food quality and one star...

Jennifer S the cashier gave us the wrong order and since the inside was closed we had to go back through the drive thru which took about another 15 minutes just to get the correct order. I showed her our receipt and the order she gave us. She wanted the wrong order back & it seems like she originally was going to save the wrong order for someone else even though we had already had it in our vehicle for at least 15 minutes and had of course opened it to eat when we seen it wasn't even our order. I said if your taking it back then I expect you to throw it away since it's technically it would be against board of health to give someone else that meal. The way she carefully layed it in the trash with the lid still closed makes me wonder if she planned on taking it back out of the trash once we left. That location is getting so ran down & needs inspected by the board of health department!! Jennifer was not very friendly and even giggled a little when I showed her she messed up our order and she even said she remembers making that mistake. I hope she truly did not take the meal back out of the trash after we left the drive thru. Needless to say we won't be back & will be reporting this location to the board of...
Read moreToday's experience here was the worst ever. Short-staffed (and had to hear the employees whine about it), and slow to serve. Room was very smokey (as if fryers had been too hot). The service here is bare minimum nowadays - nothing is on the tables, not even napkins. My biggest beef is the portion size of the "new" 2 for $5 fish tacos meal (Combo #4). Comes with waffle fries (very small portion - about 6 fries) and a small drink. For some reason, the taco combo doesn't include hush puppies, like the other combos do. Most concerning was the size of the tacos - nothing like what the publicity pics show. Each of 2 tacos consisted of about a 5-inch flour tortilla, a very small piece of fried fish (approx. half the size of a regular piece of fried fish elsewhere on their menu), about a teaspoon of what appeared to be their slaw, and some slightly zingy sauce. That's it. (see picture) These are what I would expect to find on a kid's menu. With tax, this is over $10. Not a good value. I am...
