813 Chinese Food — Restaurant in Plant City

I gave a great review about five months ago, on my first visit, but my subsequent six or seven visits have gone downhill when it comes to quality at this location. I understand times are tough, but a price increase and a quality decrease is bad math. Charging more for poor quality versus the two or three competitors in the city has caused me to change my mind, but I will not remove my last good review, because I hope they will get better. Things of note are the prices going up 10%, but the fried rice is like going to Pollo Tropical rather than Asian style (seriously, yellow rice and veg, definitely not traditional), soup noodles stale or freezer burnt, cheap takeaway sauces and light portions on wontons in soup. Again, I get it about the way times are right now, but if you’re going to increase the prices, at least maintain the quality to match. All the best to the Owners,...

Well today(mother's day)my son took me to 813 Chinese and made an order of $52.00 and we had a bite of the food and everything else went in the garbage!! It's a shame no one should have to pay for this..Money in the garbage! Their were EGGSHELLS n the egg foo yung,the shrimp toast was ,SUPER OILY AND BURNT! The EGG ROLLS WERE FREEZER BURNT,the cabbage taste like the egg rolls were int the freezer for years. The lo mein was dry noodles were thick not thin and hardly had vegetables in it and was super dry!!this place was once ok,not anymore..this is the third time I have nasty food..The last time I spend my money or tell my clients to go there..Then they treat you like your getting something for free or owe them something and should deal with the rudeness from the guy at the register..THEY NEVER GREET YOU OR SAY THANK YOU! 9-11-15. Let me tell you why I gave a 2.......... I called to order lunch ,to make sure I had the right place. I asked if it was next to Publix she says yes n hangs up. Then I call right back and ask for teriyaki chicken n fried rice., and again to double check I asked if they were by gnc ? She hangs up again !!!!!!!! So I again called and asked her not to hang up on me. She was very nasty n I told her to cancel my order n I'll go somewhere else. I thought as a business owner, I called and asked for the owner she says they don't work, so I asked for the manager. They don't work. When will they be on? The English was horrible n I ask as nicely as I could for someone 3 times who spoke English and she says no English. What a shame one person will ruin this for me n who ever o talk to I will tell.
