I have been going to this location for years. Chelsey (who is going to college soon and needs a raise) and saul (who is just plain broke and can use the cash, could use a raise ) are always a couple of whipper snappers to see often . The cashier Steven always has a smile on his face. The location also has been awarded the golden bottle for a perfect pour, Which only 1355 stores have received Out of 1400 stories . The bread is my favorite with just enough cheese to satisfy even the most snobbiest of cheese sommelier. The water is the cleanest of any place I’ve been in plant city with just the right amount of mineral content provided by the 4 filtration system Pepsi fountain. Napkins are pillowy, soft and perfect for any food remnants that might have gotten on your tie. They always have a Smorgasburg of utensils, salt, pepper, and the occasional sweetening sugars for their your sweetened tea. There is always a full rack of cookies and chips plentiful for a day out with the family or even just a late night snack in. Pepsi cooler is always filled to the brim at a chilling 52°F at all times. I’m not sure who always checks the bathroom, but the toilet seat is always down! The place always smells fresh griddle cooked goods! And I’m a huge fan for having multiple sizes of gloves for each employee. do you have one sandwich? Maybe two? Perhaps you have a half a dozen? Don’t worry! They have more paper bags than Costco! The blue stapler by the register always brightens my day. No matter whether you’re an Orlando or you’re in Tampa it’ll be well worth a trip to come to this...
Read moreThanks for the help Nathan. Tried to place a phone order and could not understand a single word of what was going on. I had two different people switching back and forth between taking my order on the phone and dealing with customers in the actual restaurant. Seems a little excessive and Unorganized for two regular subs. I went in 5 minutes later than when it was supposed to be ready to find myself having to stand in line and wait for them to start making the second sandwich. The whole check out process was a hassle, they needed two cashiers to figure out how to ring up an Italian (Mike’s way) and a regular chicken buffalo. (No manager in site through the whole process) once I arrive home and open my sandwich(the one that was done when I arrived to the restaurant) it was a totally incorrect sub. I called and told them the issue and after not being able to give me an answer they finally found a manager (Nathan) that told me it was my fault that I grabbed the wrong sandwiches (they gave me a bag with my order in it...) that I would have to drive back to the restaurant (18 minutes one way) today if I wanted my correct order. I stated I will be in the area tomorrow and would be able to get it then and he told me that’s fine but I will be paying for it. Read moreI walked in to order dinner for myself and my husband. No other customers were there so Kirk was ready to take my order right away. I started reading off the text my husband sent for his order when the text said to call him for toppings. So I apologize and stepped away to call him. While I was talking to my husband Kirk diligently started making my husbands Italian sub. By the time I was done getting the rest of my husbands order Kirk had finished the sandwich and was ready for the toppings. I felt so bad telling him that I needed the sandwich to be double meat (on a sandwich with 5 different meats that he has to freshly cut). I would have been annoyed had someone done that to me, but Kirk politely said with a smile on his face “it’s okay! I makes hundreds a day”. My husband has a very specific way he likes his sandwich and Kirk finished the sandwich with no sense of annoyance on his face and he carefully made it with absolute perfection. Meanwhile Marcus helped me with my salad, and was very pleasant. It was such a nice experience to not feel like a burden with a complicated order and our order was perfect....
