Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Pleasant Hill

Quality of the pizza is great. Nice crisp and appropriate proportions of toppings to cheese and crust. We ordered a pizza to go, then decided to catch the lunch buffet the next day so when could try out the specialty pizzas. Unfortunately they wouldn’t serve the specialty pizzas on the buffet, but he cut us a deal for a medium pizza for the price of the buffet. The butter chicken pizza was pretty decent, but drier than we thought and covered in cilantro. (We expected a butter chicken flavored sauce drizzle…) The buffet only had a few slices on it, a mix of supreme and pepperoni. But you can order another choice and they will make it fresh. Overall I can see why this location is rated higher than others… it’s clean and the quality is really good. We were slightly disappointed with the buffet but that won’t deter us from ordering take out...

I was there the day the new owners took over this Mountain Mikes location on 30 Golf Club Rd, Pleasant Hill. It was like night and day and noticeably different as far as customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and making the people who walk in the door feel welcomed. Hanish, Ekta, and Shikha treat their customers like family. This particular location is also VERY involved in supporting the local community fundraisers, schools, sports teams, organisations, etc. The Indian-inspired pizza,/cuisine, delicious chicken sandwiches with soft bread, makes this location very unique, standing out amongst its competitors. Their Tandoori chicken and chicken curry pizza are incredible! Also, they have excellent beer choices, salad bar, and a fabulous arcade for the kids. I would not tell anyone to order pizza here, as this is a waste of hard earned money. I ordered the EVEREST which had so many different meats listed in the menu and in reality maybe 2 pieces were on each slice but definitely all listed were not used, the crust was hard, dry and overcooked, burned black in some spots. When I called the location to state my complaint, I was told someone would call back to discuss. I sent my complaint in on the "wrong" form. No one has returned my call from the location where purchased. The corporate office has emailed me, still waiting for someone to address this. I work to hard to throw my money away to a business who doesn't treat consumers Respectively, Fairly or Considerately. I feel strongly about supporting local businesses but with a raising a family i cannot...
