This particular location is one of the brand new stores that has dropped the "Donuts" designation in their name, now referring to it as simply "Dunkin'". This new brand image and name change over was piloted up in the Northeast and I had experienced one of the first pilot stores up in the state of Maine for the first time a couple of years ago. And now that we have one in Pittsburgh, I think it's really cool! One of the main differences is that they have a complete cold brew tapper setup and it also includes the exclusive "Nitro" high power cold espresso brew similar to Starbucks. The kicker is that you can only get Nitro at one of these new locations because it is not offered anywhere else in the city of Pittsburgh at any of the Dunkin Donuts franchises/stores.
The only thing that I could say is they need to integrate these cold brew tappers at all of the locations whether or not they have the Dunkin delineation or not. I know people go nutso over stupid stuff like dropping the word "Donuts" from the name, but seriously, let's get a life here people. Who cares if they drop the word "Donuts" as long as they have the same menu and offer the same stuff...and in this...
Read moreStopped here today on our way to my daughter's Dr. appointment to get 2 frozen coffee's. We come to this location and others very often. We order the same 2 drinks every time. When the girl in the drive thru window handed me our coffee's I noticed they weren't correct and said this isn't right they usually have whipped cream and caramel drizzle on top. She seriously started laughing in my face as she took the drinks back from me and said you have to ask for that extra. I said I have never asked for it, it alway just comes that way. The entire time time this rude girl just kept laughing at me. I repeatedly asked her what was so funny but she never answered. Another female worker also walked by laughing and looked out the window into my car. Even if you do need to ask specifically for whipped cream and caramel on a caramel swirl frozen coffee, which like I said I've never done before, why is that funny? What kind of worker laughs at and continues to laugh at their costumer? A rude person. And she only added whipped cream, didn't get the caramel topping. Totally unacceptable behavior...
Read moreMy recent visit to Dunkin' was a complete letdown. If I could rate it, I'd give it zero stars without hesitation. I don't write a lot of reviews unless it was pretty terrible, this made that list! The bagel I ordered looked more like abstract art than a proper breakfast item, squished into a triangle shape. Are they trying to introduce a new geometric trend or just cutting corners to save costs? It's baffling how something like that could even leave the kitchen and be served to a customer. The egg was bigger than the bagel and falling off as you eat it! It's certainly not ideal for a satisfying meal. The hash browns, apparently, counting to six is a challenge because I only received four. Even the snackin' bacon, their inability to count strikes again. The only consolation was that the coffee was served hot. It's disheartening to spend money on such subpar service and quality. Honestly, it's a complete waste of money. I sincerely hope that Dunkin' reevaluates their standards because the current level of service and quality is simply unacceptable. I will never go back to this...
