so I really love this place but recently I’ve encountered a lot of attitude from some of the employees and managers and lately I’ve been finding a whole avocados and avocado skin and my burritos .. they’re really unpleasant surprises.. i really appreciate the whole hand mashed idea, but slow down!! don’t get me wrong most of the employees and managers are extremely sweet but once I was trying to get cashed out and an employee was talking about buying weed to her friend who wasn’t even purchasing anything.. and made me wait about a minute to get acknowledged at all.. lol.. I have worked in food service and I know it isn’t that hard to say hello to a customer and be polite while talking to them and tell them to have a nice day and then go about your personal topics after .. i also have managed a restaurant before for years .. i worked from the bottom up, and i made it a point to myself to be polite and understanding and watch my staff and make sure they do the same!!! She didn’t even greet me she just put my order in took my money and didn’t even say have a good day and I know that this place is a lot better than that .. and also I can’t enjoy half of my burritos because there is a giant half of an avocado that I have to remove from my burrito! this has happened three times, and once i got a big chunk of skin! all within the same month?? there is one girl here that really stands out, and is thin, tan and has brown hair... she’s pretty spectacular and she deserves a raise, promotion or SOMETHING! she’s the best staff member at any restaurant that i’ve been to in a while, i really appreciate her.. With that said, I ordered a burrito bowl and after scooping I asked her if I could do double meat and add guajillo which sounded tasty. The conversion to double meat was less than a 1/4 of their scoop of that meat. I didn't realize it was like gold at the price, but it was a tasty 4 or 5 strips worth.
The dining room was not in good shape. We luckily found a clean table, but there were many that were not. It was the start of the lunch rush, a lot of employees were training , and there were even a large group of new hires in the lobby doing what looked like orientation. I grabbed a spoon and fork that were covered with yellow grease in the stations next to the drinks/napkins. There was no iced tea and they were out of large lids, so they started giving medium cups instead.
While the food was not as good as usual, it still deserves 4 stars, even with the small portion. As the employee was training someone else, I wasn't going to go and argue about the portion of the double meat, as I was using a gift card, and I felt for the employees getting swamped.
If it weren't for supply chain issues, and obvious massive training effort, the rating would be much lower, yet I understand and hope the new employees help them get back to where they were before the pandemic.
This is a decent Chipotle location, and I have had many great meals here. Unfortunately today seemed to be an off day, so I hope you catch them on one of their many good days. I didn't plan on reviewing today, yet Google...

Furthermore I did advise them I'd be putting in this review. Stopped in at the Chipotle location at 9370 76th Street pleasant prairie Wisconsin. Order two burrito bowls to go and two side tortillas. A very time consuming line for the amount of people that were in there restaurant that was not very clean. Seem like business is normal until check out when my bill was higher than it should have been to discover I was overcharged. Cashier stated napkins in silverware were over by the soda dispensary and there weren't any napkins or forks available. dispensers empty only knives left available. To get home to discover that over burnt stuck together tortillas that they couldn't separate as to ask. Furthermore the steak and the burrito bowl taste like it had been rinsed off with water the guacamole tasted like just onions and peppers. Call the manager discuss this who advised me her name was Renee who basically told me there's nothing she can do for me. Have no intentions of revisiting...
