"Give Mod a chance" they said. "Give Mod another chance" they said.
No more chances.
I'm disappointed in the selections for everything, as well as the assembly of the pizza itself.
What kind of sauce do you want? You can get red, or BBQ. What kind of cheese do you want? You can get mozzarella, or ricotta. ANy other cheeses are "topping" cheeses, and come after the vegetables.
The vegetable selection, while actually decent, leaves you with slices of things almost as big as the slices of the pizza because they can only ever be bothered with cutting 2 lines through an 11" pizza. Somehow, a slice of the onion on mine was invincible, and avoided being cut despite the cut being directly underneath it. The banana pepper slices are humongous as well, and the pieces I received seemed almost like scraps, often containing the stems!
The assembly of the pizza was rather lacking. From the very low amount of sauce (the dough was bare in many spots), the low amount of cheese (if there was sauce, it was largely uncovered, as were the bare dough spots), and finally a small amount of toppings (I picked 3 veggies only) that apparently are overcompensated by being huge pieces, the most of anything I got on this pizza was the crust itself, which was bubbly, burnt on a couple parts, and very crumbly. Then to finalize it, only do they ever put 2 cut lines through the pizza, making slices more difficult for kids or adults with small mouths to manage. If you're able to take a bite, off comes the huge slice of onion that you now have to manage to eat like it's some kind of long pasta noodle, because it isn't held on to the pizza due to the lack of cheese on the thing.
Do yourself a favor, and visit a Blaze Pizza at least one (if it's nearby enough for you). Their 'everything' is...
Read moreUp until Friday the 21st of January 2022, I seemingly had no issues with this restaurant. I had eaten there several times before, and the majority of the staff seemed trained and on top of what they were doing. The quality of the food was decent and workers were mostly friendly. I have completely changed my outlook on this restaurant due to a terrible experience with our food and it not being corrected after trying to contact a manager, taking pictures of our food and throwing it out to try and correct the mistake, and being talked to with some of the most disrespect I’ve dealt with from anyone in the food business trying to correct a mistake. This lady was completely combative, defensive for no reason as I was completely respectful and just trying to solve the issue, somehow a manager that clearly thinks she can talk to customers however she wants, wouldn’t give me her name when I asked for it because I wanted to contact someone higher up after being treated the way I was by her, nothing got solved, and now I lie in wait for someone from corporate to hopefully contact me via the email I sent because I couldn’t find a direct phone number! It’s sickens me how the weight of one person could bring everything down. I should also mention though that our food was terrible! We had to wait in line for well over 10 minutes for our food, our food came out burned on the bottom and all our ingredients cold on the top, the staff working that day were standing around, and the boy trying to help take our order was struggling immensely and no one seemed to care or offer up help. Entire experience was TERRIBLE! If you eat here I hope you don’t...
Read moreWhere do I start?! We have never had a problem at any of the Mod Pizza's franchises except here. They are always delish pizza's and they come out fast and hot. Today was different. No problem placing our order. Employee's in "pizza making line" all wore gloves they were all friendly and courteous. Cleanliness of ingredients was a hot mess with spillage into other food containers and I get it, it gets busy but again we the customer's look at that. My biggest gripe was that the female employee taking payments was also the person who "cuts" your pizza and puts it in the box. We have nothing better to do but watch you. I watched her take a cash payment from a customer, send a quick text on her phone then cut a pizza all WITHOUT gloves on or washing her hands in between. DISGUSTING! Yes she used some tongs to place pizza in box but come on that is straight up CROSS CONTAMINATION! Especially when handling a personal phone. And here's the icing on the cake... my daughter and I woke up to an upset stomach and have been on the toilet a bunch this morning. I know what everyone is thinking but unfortunately Mod Pizza was the last thing we ate...
