So on Friday night my cousin's and I decided to do an impromptu ladies night to Plaza Azteca. The service was impecable, the drinks were strong! I had 1 frozen house margarita with a sugar rim, knocked me off of my feet lol. I had a small for $7.00. Next up I had a Strawberry Margarita on the rocks with a sugar rim, same $7.00 and I was tipsy tipsy. My cousin ordered us 2 rounds of Tequila shots, I forgot the name of the brand she ordered but they were good. My one cousin had 2 piña colada's and she said they were strong and the other had 2 Margarita's on the rocks and again she said they were strong. The food we had chicken nacho's 10/10 they gave a lot of chicken as well. They provide chips and salsa for the table and baby that salsa has a little kick to it. For our entree's we ordered the Street corn as a side, you get 3 small pieces for about 7 bicks and change and it's worth it. And we tried the Birria Taco's omg 10/10 there made with prime rib they are to die for so much so that we came back again on Saturday because we had to run that ish back lol. On Saturday we had the same thing except my 1 cousin ordered empandas and my other cousin ordered chicken and vegetable fried rice and it was so good, how do I know? Well he spoke so highly of it, I bought 1 to go home it came with chips and salsa and black beans and rice it was really good. I defnitely give them a 10/10 on the food and service alone.....but wait a min that is not all........So according to their posted hours they close at 10:30pm well baby they started moving tables out, so of course I had to ask why? Well the section where we were sitting turned into a dance floor, the dj came rolling in with his equipment and I was told that the kitchen close at 10:30 and then the nightclub open up and the bar stay open until 2am....Say Whatttt!!!!! Saturday nights are Salsa Night. They had 4 big husky armed bodyguards, security and all, and let me tell you the mama cita's were rolling in. My lil cousin was with us and ready to go or else we were gonna stay to get in on the action, but we left so I can't speak on that part but this place is lit and very inexpensive. The 1st night our bill came to about $153 and that was for 6 drinks 2 shots 1 appetizer 2 sides of street corn and 2 orders of entree's. The 2nd night our bill came to $120 for 1 drink 1 beer 2 virgin drinks 1 appetizer 3 sides of street corn and 3 entree's. You defnitely can go wrong here. I hope...
Read moreFriday, September 4th around 9ishpm. My cousin and I went to this resturant that she recommend, because she goes to the in KOP. I figure to go to this one because it was easier to get to from where we live. Once we got there we were seated outside. Our server came asked us about our drinks. We weren't ready so he came with water. Anyway at that moment the waiter was in a rush and wasn't listening to our order. We waited for him to come back with the wrong drinks. He definitely was in a hurry. He came back and we addressed him about him rushing us and not really paying attention. He said he had other tables inside to attended too. I asked for management and they sent the Assistant Manager that seem nervous to appoarch our table. We stressed that our waiter was in a rush and we felt that he wasn't paying attention nor letting us finish ordering the correct size and amount we wanted. He sent a waitress and she felt like she had to be firm with us and a bit rude. We just let things be and try to enjoy our food. The person that came with our food. He felt that he had slam the food on the table and almost spill my drink. We will never ever go back to that location. I rather take the drive to KOP. BTW! The food wasn't cooked completely. Chicken fajitas under cooked along with the shrimp. To bad the environment was amazing last night. I hope they take a better training in customer service. There are training classes for that please schedule a class for the whole staff. Thank you...
Read moreOrdered dinner just after 6 pm Thursday. My mother went to pick up the food at the given time. It was not ready, that’s okay they were busy, as they normally are. She waited and waited, the hostess apologized and said the food would be out shortly, they had catering. The short wait turned into 40 minutes, okay well at least we have the food it should be fresh because we waited so long. We live in the Valley so we are only 5 minutes away, if that. The minute I pull the food out of the bag I know something is wrong, the foil containers are not hot at all. So we take the lids off, open the food and it is ALL cold, completely cold. I’ve been a restaurant manager for 7 years, I know things can happen and short staffing is problem these days. But to have 4 meals all cold after waiting 40 minutes after the pick up time in the restaurant is unacceptable. The food was probably sitting in the kitchen while the staff bagged up their catering order. If you are going to compromise your dinner customers doing catering orders than there is something wrong with the way you are doing business. We called back a few minutes after we got home to let them know the $90+ we spent was not edible without being reheated, we were put on hold for 5 minutes just to be told no one can talk to us right now, and they will call us back. Still waiting on the...
