I came in with my partner just a few days ago and there was a girl behind the counter with a neck tattoo or face tattoo? It wasn’t busy and I went through the line like any other customer would, I smiled and tried to be pleasant and she was very stand-off-ish and gave me light scoops of literally everything I asked for. I didn’t want to be rude and say something as she was portioning everything because her attitude was pretty intimidating. I assumed it was a portion control thing. But when my partner went through shortly after me she was super kind, a conversationalist, and smiled. She gave huge scoops of everything he wanted. In both my and my partners opinion, my partner and I didn’t act too differently from each other. We both work in the service industry, we own a restaurant locally so we always try to be polite. I was left feeling pretty offended and dissatisfied. I’m only leaving this review to give any future customers a heads up that if you see someone behind the counter who fits this description, you may, at the very least, need to prepare yourself to potentially feel some prejudice or be discriminated against. I understand having a bad day, but it was an odd and confusing feeling to see her immediately treat other people with a better attitude while giving them better portion sizes for no reason that was obvious to me, since my mood was pretty positive when I had walked in. The food wasn’t worth the $40. Even my partner said something to me as we left in confusion about how different we both were treated. Some people just shouldn’t be in hospitality. I definitely won’t be coming back to this location because of this experience. And I’d caution, if youre someone who doesn’t like to be deliberately made to feel uncomfortable, you should go to a different location too. It’s not worth the money if they’re going to randomly treat customers poorly just because they want to without cause. It was just a super awkward, uncomfortable, and offensive experience. It’s amazing how much someone’s bad day can affect your good one. I hope they can resolve this by possibly training their staff to be better at being hospitable or even just simply, nice. At the end of the day, it’s just a burrito bowl, but I was made to feel really poorly for quite literally no reason and if I can prevent other people in the future from being treated that way I will. I wish them the best of luck and I hope she has some...
Read moreToday’s experience was far from stellar. Every time a customer walks in the door, everyone on the front line has to acknowledge them the moment they walk in the door and say “Welcome to Chipotle.”That’s now taking the attention away from the customer that’s actively going down the line telling the worker what they want in their order. They’re constantly looking up to see if anyone is entering the building so they can acknowledge them. I had to keep waiting for the girl to make eye contact in order to get the next item on my bowl. I get greeting the customer when they get to the front of the line but having 5 employees greet me when I walk in the door is overkill. Secondly, they were out of Barbacoa and fajita veggies which is annoying. Lastly, I asked for a side of vinaigrette, I always ask for this and have never been turned down. My response was simply, “oh, I’ve always gotten it before, is this new?” The worker for some reason went on the defensive and basically said if I wanted to talk to the manager she’s right there. The manager hopped in and was getting defensive as well. I’m not causing a scene or raising my voice this whole time and my questioning it was merely out of surprise. I had to tell the manager twice I wasn’t complaining I was just surprised. That’s all.
Terrible experience, do better Plymouth Chipotle. I think I’ll be going to Raynham from now on. I’ve never felt attacked at...
Read moreMy son loves Chipotle. I usually like Chipotle but the Plymouth location continues to disappoint. Today my son orders his chicken bowl, the young man gave him a healthy scoop of chicken and rice. He then asks what the other chicken was and the man told him it was new “Honey” chicken. My son asked for a little to try and the man said sure, scooped out about 4 pieces of chicken and sprinkled into his bowl. The next worker comes over and she says “Double chicken?” And the man says yes! I was floored that less than a half a scoop of chicken was considered a double dose! The man then scoops rice and beans onto my burrito and the next worker comes over once again and I ask for chicken. She scoops half a scoop of chicken into my burrito. I am now concerned that asking for some more that they were going to charge double again! She then takes the smallest dollop of sour cream I have ever seen and drops it into my burrito. It felt like I was being pranked. Sure enough, they charge me for a double scoop in my son’s bowl and my burrito was one of the worst I’ve ever had. This was the last straw. I will no longer support this location. The young blond behind the counter needs to take a lesson in proper portion sizes and also learn some...
