Boston's Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar — Restaurant in Pooler

I don't know yet 🤷🏻‍♂️... I've already visited this establishment twice. It was a Wednesday the first time. The service and food quality were so good that my wife and I decided to return. Our second visit was on a Saturday. The restaurant was not overly crowded, which can be a good thing. We were seated immediately, which was fantastic. We had big plans to order food, get some drinks, try the desserts, and get some for our kids to go. The problem was that our waitresses' customer service was poor. We were at the restaurant for 1 hour and 30 minutes and only had a chance/motivation to order one appetizer, two entrées, and three drinks. Our waitress was slow and forgetful, which was the reason for this. At one point, she admitted that she had forgotten to place our order, which I didn't mind because we are all human and mistakes happen... but it took over 15 minutes for anything we needed or asked for. It took 20 mins for us to receive our 1st order of drink 🚩... She paid us little attention and frequently forgot about us. This time, the entrées were subpar. My chicken sandwich was dry and spicy, just like DFAC chicken with Texas Pete. The turkey club was nothing to worth bragging about. Our waitress transformed into a social butterfly after I asked for the check, but the damage had already been done lol... I don't like leaving less than 15% of a tip, but I also don't like paying for bad service nor food. We still have hope and are planning to go a 3rd time to decide if we can make this our local spot or not. I...

I don’t even write reviews unless I really love a place or really hate it. In this case, it was the latter. I ordered a to-go order. First of all, the person who was on to-go doesn’t speak English so it took me about 20 minutes on the phone to order a simple pizza and chicken fingers. I was told it would be 20 minutes. I got there in exactly 20 and was told my food was not ready which was fine. Waited around about ten more minutes and my food came out— but my chicken fingers and fries were so soggy to the point that when you picked one up it fell over like a lifeless body. I informed them of the issue before leaving. The to-go person took my plate and walked away and said nothing. About 7 minutes went by and she didn’t return with a solution so I asked the host if he could provide me with an update. He came back and said she was boxing it up at that moment to bring it. She did return shortly after as promised, but with microwaved.. still soggy chicken fingers and fresh hot fries. When I asked her if it had been microwaved she looked like she saw a ghost and told me yes. I told her I wanted hot fresh tenders and she asked if I wanted them fried fresh and I said yes. She came back about 3 minutes later with my same tenders (including the one I initially bit). This time the tenders were dry, soggy STILL, and tasted of scorched grease. Update : tried several weeks ago was a better experience . Tonight , had appetizer and ran out of water before drink order came to the table , the food is actually good . Training is lacking for staff , went to front end to inquire about check when waitress was MIA for over 15 min . Was rudely addressed by young 15/16 year old sitting on counter with cell phone who pointed her finger at me to explain they were very busy and basically I should get over it . The pointing of her finger and sitting on a food counter addressing me an almost 54 year old sent me over the edge . I ask for a manager ! My husband And I spoke with a young lady who expressed sympathy who explained she had already received a complaint on this young person the day before ( as a former restaurant owner all I could think is right to work state and why this 15/16 year old was still employed) why would a company coming to a booming Pooler area with families looking for new places to spend their hard earned money allow this ! The 5.00 coupon was appreciated However I can assure you this won’t bring me or my recommendations to your restaurant! It will probably be some time before I try again , to give time for the hiccups to be corrected . Had the tai shrimp appetizer ( yummy ) drinks were great . Server Sha was awesome ! Will definitely be back to try...
