I'm a frequent visitor of this location, I come in 3 or 4 times a week, and I have noticed over the past several weeks how horrible the work conditions are becoming. The A/C still isn't functional after being broke for AT LEAST two weeks, on four of my visits it was 100° in the dining room or higher, which makes an excellent breeding ground for bacteria and viruses, such as covid19. The ice machine was broke multiple times during the last few visits resulting in flat, hot fountain drinks and one day I overheard one manager telling the main manager i usually see, that they had to ice down the food tables to keep the correct temperature because it wasn't cooling properly. But to top it all off, During this visit, I was ordering and witnessed a shelf fall and hit the main manager, the temperature was at 89° by the thermostat and waited almost 15 minutes and a young employee told me the wait time is outrageously ridiculous due to only 3 meat warmers working and I could see at least 4 of them stacked up on the table behind them and another unplugged. These issues need to be fixed to keep your customers and employees happy. These employees are working through it the best they can and tensions are starting to become visible from both customers and employees and I can't blame them. Employees are being berated by customers over issues they have no control over and its sad. Someone needs to do better. I will also be calling the health department about the heat conditions if it isn't fixed on my next visit. Your employees deserve better, I'm truly pleased to see them trying their best in times like this and with all the new faces I'm left wondering how many quit already over these issues. Someone needs to do better! However, please give some praise to the employees dealing with this, they are exceptional. My food and service is always delightful.
Edited to add: went in last night and the AC seemed to be fixed as well as some meat warmers as my wait time was significantly reduced and with more people in front of me than the last few times. Employees seemed in a much better mood and less sweaty which is a good thing when...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow, this is the first for Snackdaddy! Went into Pooler Firehouse store tonight with my girlfriend to order dinner. She ordered and then I started to order. I praised the little guy at the register and big guy making the sandwiches on how the last one they made for me was finally the way to make a perfect sub! He asked my name and I gave it to him for what I thought was for the order. He states, we can't serve you! Get out! And my girlfriend said, he just complimented you on the food. He stated again, we can't serve you, get out, leave. No reason why! I seriously thought he was joking, but he was getting ready to almost cry. Then I realized what it was about! And I said oh because of _her name? Another night, which none of these guys were working, I went in to get a sub and when I walked in; I saw someone making sandwiches I knew. We both said hey! And shot the bull after I ordered. I took a pic to say hey look who works at Firehouse subs, to other friends of hers. And so today I was banned from FH subs due to taking her picture. As of this time there are no posted signs of photography being prohibited. The little guy also would not give me the owner's/mangers name or number. Told me...

Iām not putting any pork products on our food and look š on the website beforehand to see if they made any commendations for any the company policy stated that it does allow substitution .So I requested add more brisket and remove the pork from our subs but leave the turkey meat on along with the coleslaw .. He started talking about the changes to our subs and tried to change it to a different subs and continue to behave very badly about the change because my pork allergies 𤧠yes, manager is not fit to be in this capacity to handle management He needs to be retrained and because heās a poor example for the staff.
