IHOP — Restaurant in Pooler

No STARS! The food here is absolutely disgusting and overpriced! I ordered an egg white omelet for $10 and the mushrooms on it were like rubber and the fruit I got was from a can and was completely inedible. When I got home I immediately became sick and vomited several times! I can not say it was food poisoning as I did not go to the hospital, but I am sure I will never eat here again to find out! The service was okay at first. The girl that came to the table was very nice and even though we had to remind her a few times to get things, she touched the table multiple times and was fine. I am not expecting fine dining at IHop, but I do expect to not have to wait forever and not to get sick, both of which happened! She ended up leaving towards the end and giving us to another server and that was when the chaos started. Another shorter white girl, who already seemed to be running around doing the work of 10 people had to come over and figure out who had what to split our bill. We got our bill and went to pay but it became obvious that only she, I think her name was nichole and another tall black guy, couldn't see his name tag, were the only ones actually working! There were two other girls that literally just roamed around, watched us standing at the checkout for over 10 minutes, and did nothing. They said they were off, if that is the case, then they needed to go to the back or clock back in, not stand around when 10 people are behind us waiting to be seated and 2 couples are waiting at the counter for over 10 minutes waiting to pay. I have never dined and dashed, but I seriously considered it at this point since I was waiting so long with absolutely no, "well be there in one minute" or a "sorry, were short staffed, someone will be with you". NOTHING. The manager (I'm assuming, she was not dressed as a server but was in the back) came out at one point, went to her car, then walked right back into the back area, didn't say a word even though there was clearly something going on with that many people just waiting around! I will NEVER go here again and recommend NO ONE...

My girlfriend and I are from Duluth, Ga and we're on vacation and attended this Ihop on 421 Pooler Pkwy and compared to other Ihops we've been to this was by far the worst experience we ever had. The waitress that served us was young and 16 years old she seemed ok at first and stated that it was her third day on the job. However, while she was serving us I had to remind her about giving us our drinks and extra napkins. She had us waiting for 45 minutes for our order throughout our time there. To make things worst when She gave us our order the presentation of the food itself was unacceptable. The pancakes of the House Fave deal were real thin and not thick or fluffy and the Chicken Florentine that my girlfriend ordered was poorly cooked with bacon bits that was not included with the order. The young waitress told us the chef made a mistake and told us he would remake the order itself. After that my girlfriend waited for another 12 minutes to receive her order. When we finally finished and asked for the check she asked us how was everything and we gave her our honest judgment, I also asked her if she could give my girlfriend a to go box for the rest of her food and when she gave us the to go box she just threw the box on the table and walked away not being professional or thanking us for coming or apologizing for any inconvenience. The service provided by the young lady in the end was unprofessional and even though it was her third day on the job I think she needs to be properly trained on how to served customers well with a more pleasant attitude and the chef there needs to be more trained on his presentation and quality on making meals for customers otherwise this location will receive more bad reviews. Me and my friend walk in and we already know we gonna have to wait because we saw a lot of people are waiting to be sit it! So the worker at the counter she said is going to be 15 minute waiting and we say okay is fine. So as we waiting for 20 minutes, we got our table, but we got to the table it wasn't clean so we have to go back and wait for another 10 minutes until the table is clean!!! So the table is clean we got sit it, so wait another 10 minute before our waitress come and ask if we ready to order drinks so we order our drinks and waited for another 10 minutes, she pass by numerous time without our drinks and she say "oh I'm sorry what was your drinks again" SMH! I only ask for water and juice my friend only coffee! So she left again, I saw her coming with drinks but she went to the wrong table and then she realized it was the wrong table she just left those drinks and go back and get ours, at this time I'm already annoyed and upset but my friend she hungry so we continue to wait, so we finally got our drinks and we ready to order. So we wait 20 minutes for our food and finally got our food so my friend they forgot her hasbrown but I kept asking her please don't forget my fries please? she said ok! Now I'm about to finish with my food and I still haven't got my fries yet, so she finally brought my fries but I'm done eating already, so what really got me was the size of the fries was brought to me. I was like REALLY IHOP!!! So the picture of the size of fries was serve to me is ridiculous 🙄 I'm so angry because how much money you spent on food and drinks. And this how much we get served!
