AVOID THIS RESTAURANT !!The staff is TERRIBLE and are NOT customer oriented. This is after many times trying to negotiate with them to do the right thing. I've also attempted to contact management and the owner to no avail. They have a website with an email for you to contact them and they NEVER RESPOND. The FOOD IS LACKLUSTER and OFTEN COLD or lukewarm. THEY PRE-COOK EVERYTHING yet they say they will fix it fresh. You look through the filthy window to the kitchen AND THE PLACE IS NOT CLEAN. I told them my food was cold and asked for a recook and the cook was in the kitchen slinging tools and showing his behind because I asked for hot food. ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES TOLD ME THAT SEASONS OF JAPAN IS FAST FOOD AND I SHOULDN'T EXPECT HOT FOOD HERE. AND IF WANTED SOMETHING HOT I SHOULD GO TO MIYABIS OR HIRANOS. I THINK I WILL! I asked the manager for a contact number for The owner and or regional manager and she told me that they are not allowed to give it out. Now that's real customer service 😡. I would have the manager's number on the wall right at the register in big letters if it was my restaurant. You should be that proud. This PLACE IS A FAILURE and needs to pack up and leave Pooler. THIS IS NOT A ONE-TIME THING. I'VE HAD THIS PROBLEM SEVERAL TIMES. I'VE JUST HAD ENOUGH AND I WILL NOT RETURN AND I WILL WARN AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO STAY AWAY! MOST OF THE PRETTY PICTURES YOU SEE ON HERE ARE PROFESSIONAL PICTURES POSTED BY THE COMPANY AND DO NOT REFLECT WHAT IS ACTUALLY SERVED.

I ordered on Uber Eats when I was in Savannah/Pooler Georgia. It was delicious. I ordered a bowl with chicken and steak with a vegetable base. I got rice on the side. On the app it asked how I wanted the steak cooked, and I think it offered well done, medium well, or something else. I went ahead and checked medium, or medium rare I can't remember. I did not expect it to be cooked that way, I knew it would be chunks of meat. That one I tried it, it was cooked that way! It was cooked the way I asked for it to be. And the meat was tender. I have included a picture of the steak cut so that you can see that it was pink in the middle. I was impressed. This entree was very tasty! It came with a couple of packets of Japanese white sauce, whatever that is. I think if the white sauce was made the way it was supposed to be, like in an upscale Japanese restaurant, if they even have that, it would taste great. But I didn't like it at all. It was in a packet. Remind me a little bit of a very sweet dressing. Didn't care for it. It was mayonnaise-based with a little bit of paprika, and I don't know what else. I don't understand at all how it would go with Japanese food. That being said, the portions were very generous, and the other sauces I had were delicious. I could have made three meals out of the serving. I made two meals out of it. The second time I ate it I was way too full! So you could definitely stretch this out to two or three meals.

I was surprised to find that this is a fast food restaurant. No table service, which keeps lunch prices low I guess. A quick healthy lunch is the reason to come here. Dishes are very simple and bland but there are a variety of sauces you can administer yourself. The tuna was good quality and food is prepared very quickly. It was nearly impossible to get any flavored sauce into my bowl without covering everything in it, but the bowl ingredients were essentially flavorless, so I really didn't appreciate that dilemma. My wife said her teriyaki shrimp and broccoli bowl also lacked flavor. If you want something fast, healthy, and vaguely reminiscent of Japanese food, this is an option. We probably won't be back though.

I reside in Atlanta Georgia, so whenever I’m back home in Savannah, seasons of Japan is always a treat. The food is always good and the service is usually good too. However, my last visit at this location was a disaster. Let me start by saying that I got there at 8:35pm on Sunday, to bring food back to Atlanta. Once I got to the counter, I was told the only thing they had was chicken and rice. I usually order hibachi shrimp and fillet mignon. I did not understand why I could not order hibachi shrimp and filet mignon when they weren’t even close yet. I was told the grill was shut down. I asked to speak to a manager, so somehow the grill open back up and I got the fillet mignon however, they would not do the shrimp. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Then come to find out they did not have the three orders of filet mignon that I have paid for. I only could get two so I had to get a refund for my third order. I will say I asked if I could get a upgrade on my chicken bowl for my inconvenience. The manager did consent. Once my food was ready two other women (white women) walked in they were told the same thing (chicken and rice only) initially. That’s not what they wanted. They wanted shrimp and so the manager said she would cook the shrimp. That’s when I became livid. I don’t know if it was because I am a black woman and these were two white women that came in. All I know is that there was no equality in this situation. It’s perplexing, the grill would be closed at 8:35, yet open back up to cook shrimp at 8:55. Honestly, the food is really good. I can’t take that from them, yet the way I was treated and the way they made me feel in that moment, I will NEVER go back to that location if I decide to go back to seasons of Japan at all. If I choose to go back, Victory Drive will be the only location I go to. They have always treated me with the upmost respect and even honored my request when it came to how I wanted my food prepared. It’s so unfortunate that it is the same company and I can’t say the same about the staff at ...

I have been going here for years. Today is the first day I can say they disappointed me. I placed an online order with a20 minute pick-up time. When I arrived (well past the 20 wait time), I overheard the cashier (who seem to have no clue how to breathe, none the less how to provide customer service) telling another customer they had NO RICE TO COMPLETE THERE ORDER. The customer wasn't happy because they had been waiting over 40 for their simple order. Initially I wanted a refund. Then, I decided I would take noodles in place of the rice (I had my children waiting for dinner,. I didn't want to try to order somewhere else and wait even more. ) The cashier told me we can't do that. I explained to get at this point she needed a lesson in customer service since they are the ones who failed to call me about not having ANY RICE. She was clueless again and sent the manage over. He was just as clueless s the cashier. After waiting over an hour for NO RICE AND NOODLES THAT THEY WEREN'T PREPARED TO SERVE, i finally got my food. $75 later, the manage have a silly card for one free item and a card for a free drink each time I come in and order. He acted like he didn't have a care in the world for the customers waiting for food that didn't even need rice. He left the kitchen area and hid ion three office, while the cashier who was clueless stood away from the front area. She was trying to avoid having to explain something she was clueless about.

WHAT KIND OF ASIAN THEMED RESTAURANT RUNS OUT OF RICE. STAY WAY FROM THERE UNTIL THEY FUGUE OUT, RICE IS NECESSARY IN...
