Bourbon West — Restaurant in Port Angeles

It's a bit of a struggle to be giving the second star after the experience I had last night, but the one other time I came was decent (awesome pretzel and ribs and fun service).

My second experience was shockingly bad. After being served an overly sweet cocktail I flagged the bartender for some extra lime. She proceeded to lose it, saying we were talking about it behind her back. She then aggressively poured a ridiculous amount of lime in the drink, and basically stormed off giving us zero chance to explain she must have misconstrued a different conversation we were having. The other bartender came over and made a bunch of excuses for her, but we obviously didn't stick around after that vibe-killing episode, and won't be returning. Had a few beers and foods. The food was fine for what it was, but I rated only 3 stars because of the casual attitude across the bar for Covid precautions. For the ~1.5 hours we were in the bar, I only saw 1 of 3 staff wearing masks. The main bartender's mask was just dangling from her their ear. There were not social distancing markers on the floor. Very few customers in the bar were wearing masks when away from their table or at the bar. There were a few separate occasions when 5-6 people were crowded up at the bar, not social distancing and not wearing masks. Staff was not cleaning/disinfecting tables between customers. My dad and I were traveling from out of town and went to this bar, hopeful for a nice drink and some friendly convos. Upon arrival, we asked the bartender what she had on tap, and what she would recommend based on our preferences. We were met with nothing but incredibly rude and short answers, as if our presence and questions were bothering her. We understand that service folks can have it rough, but the bar was completely empty for 8pm, and our questions weren’t out of place or rude.
