Being from Hawaii, I was thrilled when I found the Kaimana Lychee white balsamic vinegar at Fog Horn last week. I bought it as a Christmas present for my son, but I will be purchasing my own bottle! I used it on my waffles this morning. I plan on using it to flavor cookies, making a coffee syrup, a pancake syrup, to flavor cocktails and whip cream and most of all over vanilla ice cream. Can't wait! Full disclosure, I did buy several oils and vinegar, but the Lychee was so good it deserves it's own review. 😍

The grilled cheese sandwiches were absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent—friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The shop also offers a curated selection of wines, all priced at $35. I had a Sauvignon Blanc from Washington State, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Later, I checked on Vivino and saw it listed at $31.50. Given that wine at restaurants is often priced at more than double retail, the wine pricing at Fog Horn is surprisingly fair and offers great value.

I am SO thrilled with Foghorn! I use their balsamic/olive oils in almost every meal I make. The quality is outstanding, the prices are MORE than fair, and John and Mercedes make me feel like family every time I come in. The other day, my boyfriend quipped, "Looks like your display shelf is getting low...better get more!" :) LOL Seriously...my FAVE!

I don't think I've ever visited a place like this. John and Mercedes were the most authentic people i've met. I truly enjoyed spending time with them, talking about anything, and getting the chance to know them. I felt like I could spend forever in there sharing stories and enjoying good food and fantastic local wine! This place seemed different from the rest, not a shop that gives you typical service. Certainly a more human and inviting place; these two felt like home, and I couldn't ask for more.

I want to go there again sometime, hopefully soon!

(PS. Thank you so much for the birthday gift!!! I'm so excited to use it!! I'm also going to tell my family and friends that this is a must to visit. Also, before leaving town, I had to buy a bottle of that local...

I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars! My husband and I had the most amazing afternoon at foghorn olive oil bistro and left with amazing balsamic vinegars, life changing hoagies, and memories that will truly last us a life time! We are so grateful for such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to tell everyone that we run into that they have to go and chat with John and his incredible group of friends, family, and customers at foghorn! Thank you so much for having us and treating us with so much hospitality, we felt like we found a home...
