Wasn't going to review this place but decided to anyway. Went there 5-17-19. And spoke with the gentleman a long time about seafood and different things told him I was coming back to get some Stone Crab Claws after our excursion on the Beach that Day. Later that day I came in and picked up 3lbs of Stone Crab Claws and asked him if they was fresh he said Yes . Well then I wanted some Gumbo to make as well he recommended a gumbo mix to use . Well I asked the gentleman if it had Msg he said no . Well I get back to the room to prepare the Claws and the Gumbo that night and we was Staying at the Amelias Landing. well the Claws were definitely old or frozen and thawed to many times because the meat inside was all dried up and you could not get the meat out.@9.99 lb We was very disappointed. And guess what the gumbo had Msg in it. I should of known when I ask the Gentleman if this was his business and he said Yes but his Name wasn't Paul. Please becareful because all the Seafood is not fresh and is flash frozen from places like Sysco and other...

Went to this market looking for some fresh seafood after our fishing trip was canceled due to high wind. The customer service was awful. We were asked to wait outside because only 10 people are allowed in at a time (we were a group of 6 who all wanted to have a choice in the seafood purchase and were all pitching in money to pay for the product). Meanwhile there was another group of people (about 5) that came in after us and none of them were asked to wait outside. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate lady at the counter. I'm all for social distancing but your store should be fair. We still bought $200 but would have bought more except we felt rush and half of us were outside waiting outside. If your a big group looking to buy alot of product go to...

I came here 2 years ago and it was incredible. They had huge, whole grouper, red fish, red snapper, blue crab and the service was great. I spent over $500 and couldn’t have been happier about it. Today, I drove 3 hours hoping for the same experience and words can’t describe how disappointed I am. I guess they’ve expanded their restaurant, and in doing so have almost no fresh, whole fish to buy. All they had was shrimp, some tilapia, and filets. I can buy all this at my local H-E-B. No one even bothered to say hello to me, which was so different from my last visit where everyone was very welcoming and helpful. I’m beyond disappointed that I wasted 6 hours to drive there and back empty handed, and that my favorite fish...

-----UPDATE----- There is now a small restaurant on-site!!! What's better then the freshest fish on the island you ask? Well, when they take that fresh catch and turn it into fresh seafood tacos and po' boys!! I cant say this loud enough, GO HERE AND EAT NOW!!! We've traveled to Port A several times a year for years now, and this is one place that's never changed. We absolutely love picking up some fresh shrimp and grilling them directly in the sand while spending the entire day on the beach! That being said, this is THE PLACE to go for the freshest seafood on the island.

We were initially shopping at Family IGA and saw their seafood there. Wasn't too thrilled with the choices there and looked for a seafood market close by. Paul's Seafood Market was down the street and based on the reviews we checked it out. Everything looked fresh! We decided on 3 lbs of good sized shrimp and 2 filets of red snapper with skin. My brother in law grilled all the food last night. The shrimp was very sweet, my favorite! I didn't care for the red snapper too much but others enjoyed it.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Service was amazing and the food was so good and fresh, I highly recommend this place if your looking for a good shrimp basket and fries this is your place. Hush puppies were delicious as well and kids loved there chicken strips. There is all kinds of amazing food choices to choose from, so don't hesitate and stop by.
