Coco Donuts & Coffee Downtown — Restaurant in Portland

So I absolutely LOVE the softness and freshness of cocoa donuts and I buy a dozen on Saturdays for myself and my family. The dozen has ALWAYS been $16.00. This morning I go in and order my usual dozen, mind you my normal coco donuts spot is on Milwaukie Ave but this morning I was In downtown Portland and so I get my dozen and she says it’s a premium dozen so it’s going to be $18 dollars. I politely ask why it is two dollars more than it has ever been anywhere else and what makes it premium? She says and I quote “ I am DEPLETING her stock so it’s $2.00 more.” I ask her why they don’t make more then or how that is my fault as a pretty loyal customer and she says “It’s not but I’m still charging you two extra dollars.” So I will not be going to coco donuts again or supporting...

Should staff at a business discriminate on who they serve? The Donuts are very good and most of the staff have been professional. However, 2 workers at the downtown location have expressed being "offended" by a repeat customer's, public freedom of speech. Small Business is in a sensitive position for sure. Accept repeat, loyal customers vs. Staff qualifying customers based on race, religion, Politics, or sexual orientation. These are new cultural times we live in with business caught in the middle. The decor was a poor attempt, it looks like they tried to do something cool but as cheap as possible. The lighting sucked it was dark and dingey. The latte I had was not my favorite it was the salt and caramel I think, or whatever the salt one was. We got a donut as we are fans actually it was the apple fritter.
