Went to this location to get some lunch in between a busy day like I sometimes do and get the pick your pair. I ordered a salad with out tomatoes as I have sensitivity and a chicken pie soup. When I got to my apt I had poured my balsamic Vin and started to mix up my salad when I saw three tomatoes hiding at the bottom. Unfortunately I had to give the salad to bf and only have my soup, I did call the shop to fix the situation as I paid for it and I didn’t get to have a lunch and I had work to do the rest of the day. The person I spoke to told me it would be communicated what happened and my name and that I would be arriving later in the day, but when I arrived a an older tattooed 30s/40s yr old yt man met me with rudeness and didn’t seem to take things nicely that I was just there for a replacement that is all. I did mention that I had a pot pie for my order because I was just told it would be in the replacement. To clarify I was not EXPECTING it to just be given it was offered so that’s why I mentioned it, and the man’s response was “there was nothing wrong with the soup!” And he walked over to the build station to make my salad laughing with a coworker as they are standing over it. Regardless of what they were laughing about (I think the tomatoes) it really made me feel like food safety especially when it comes to food allergies is not taken seriously with the individual or possibly the establishment. If I had not seen the tomatoes and eaten the salad this review and complaint would have been a whole different level. With an accommodation so small I was not expecting to have to make...

So I went in there tonight and I had mentioned to them that I had been in there before with my son and let me tell you this when I went in there before it was amazing tonight not so much for the price that you pay for the sandwiches when I went in there before it was simply amazing tonight you’re lucky that you got and if I would’ve gotten just one meat of choice of a sandwich, I would’ve only gotten one slice as you can see from the picture I got one slice of each meat. This sandwich is absolutely disgusting and for the price that you pay for it it is not worth it. I would’ve been better off going to Subway. This is not worth the money. I would not waste my time or my money going back to this place when I went there with my son in the afternoon and when Kelsey was working much better service and much better quality of food and the person that was working there tonight was obviously not knowing what she was doing because the customer prior to me didn’t even get what she ordered so that being said I will never go to this establishment again because I don’t have the money to be wasting on this and I thought I would treat myself. This is not a treat. This is actually gonna be going in the garbage because I’m not gonna just eat bread I would’ve been better off like I said, going to Subway and paying way less and getting way more for my money. Shame on you for being in the middle and the heart of downtown Portland and selling this garbage not worth the money buyer beware for sure and and top of that you get more bread than you even do vegetables like I said, not worth the money...

These guys were my heros today! I was running super late for my flight and thought placing an online order and running up to pick up a sandwich would be my quickest option, so I could eat on my way to the airport. Of course, when wanting to quickly run in to grab my sandwich, there was no parking and I ended up driving around for 10 minutes until I finally just illegally parked and ran for it. Then, when they ask me for my name on my order, no sandwich. At this point I am a panicked spazz because I am running late. Apparently I placed the order at the wrong location, like a dummy. The two fellas at the counter were so nice and calm and quickly got my new order going and called the other location for me and cancelled my order. They were kind and helpful even though I came in like a whirlwind. This is an example of fantastic customer service. Thank you to the two that helped me, but also, thank you to the manager for hiring great staff and obviously emphasizing great customer service and efficiency. The sandwich was great too!
