The coffee was absolutely lovely! I got the custard coffee (aka Cloud Cream Coffee?), which was fantastic! This hot coffee drink was delicious, beautifully brewed, and interesting, the topping was cool and delicate and only a little bit sweet. Somehow it walked the line of being an interesting coffee drink while still being coffee-focused. My partner got the Maple Oat Latte, which was similarly well-balanced and delicious. Also, the mochi donut was delicate and tasty (churro-inspired?) and the brownie was deliciously deep chocolate without feeling heavy. (It was also squishy/bouncy in a way that suggests it’s a mochi brownie.) And the barista was super nice. All around very lovely. Unlike their original location, this one features a pour over menu of different single origin coffees with different flavor profiles. Each pour over I ordered over several visits were well brewed with a clear flavor, and some were truly exceptional (Colombia Finca El Diviso). If you've been to their original location you are probably familiar with their other drinks. I personally love the ssuk latte. Also known as mugwort in English or yomogi in Japanese, this flavor is hard to come by so seeing it in drink form was a real treat! If you like yomogi mochi (the green colored mochi with earthy herbaceous flavor, not to be confused with matcha flavored mochi) then you will...
