Pizzicato Pizza. Pearl — Restaurant in Portland

The last two times I’ve been to pizzicato in the Pearl. Have been a horrible experience. I’m not sure if they are unhappy with their job. But customer service is key, and mugging customers, looking them up and down as if they have a problem with you is NOT customer service. I tip everywhere I go. And they definitely will not be getting tipped from me until they have better customer service. Also I will not be returning to this location until I see changes have been made. MAKE YOU CUSTOMERS FEEL COMFORTABLE NOT LIKE YOU WANT TO FIGHT THEM! Monday night I went in to grab a pep slice and the lady instantly profiled me and told me to leave, very rudely. And if I was recording I promise I woulda take that video straight to the news, social media and my lawyer. Just because I am black doesn’t mean I can’t afford to grab a pizza for $5. Come on now. I get it, I’m not from this city, in San Diego places close between 10 and midnight if they are not open 24 hours. I have been screwed many times going in at 7:50 to get a pizza only to be told they were closed. I was also not allowed to buy a beer while I waited for my pizza to be made and cooked, trust me, I can finish a beer before you can make a pizza. That being said, I really like their pizza. I lived in Naples twice, for a total of 6 1/2 years so I rarely order American pizza. Pizzicato is right around the corner so it’s convenient. I really like this pizza. This place that's great I can't believe it was right around the corner from me for a year before I tried it I would describe it as mixed between New York and Saturday market Pizza delicious doughy, crispy,crunchy crust ,thin hand tossed I believe ! Can you use very fresh ingredients in a rotating assortment styles of pizza and an abundance of salads something for everyone it's the kind of pizza place you don't feel too bad eating at but that melty chewy goodass pizza will keep you coming back.
