I really had hopes that this little shop would be better than some of the reviews I had read. My wife and I, who are not very picky, decided to try it out. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The staff was courteous and kind; however, the selection was lacking. I ordered a latte with an extra shot. They didn't have whole milk; all they had was 2%, so go figured it wasn't going to froth. That lady sure did try though, and the result was boiling hot milk. It was so hot when I first tried to drink it; I burned my whole mouth. Even when we got home, it was too hot, and I had to mix it with heavy cream to give the milk some volume and cool it down. I have never, in my whole life, burned my mouth from steamed milk. My wife ordered a small caramel macchiato. She asked that kind of syrup they used and asked to substitute the hazelnut for toffee nut, but that was unavailable. The pricing and up charges are kind of weird too. Its $.90 for almond milk doesn't matter if you order a 12oz. or a 32oz its $.90 even though one used 20oz more. A .50/.75/.90/1.05 charge based on volume used for size seems to make more sense. The coffee was average; once I got some cream mixed into it, it was ok. I probably would give it another try, but not carrying whole milk is a...
Read moreI used to go all the time but the $5 minimum to be able to use your card really got me. As a young college student I never carry cash so it was always an inconvenience. However, I would just buy a $5 gift card to pay for my $4 and some change drink. Eventually, I just stopped going because I'd rather pay a little more at Starbucks where it tastes better and they let me use my card. Today, I didn't have time to go to Starbucks and went back to buy my drink. I ordered it, they asked me several times if I wanted whipped cream and I said yes at least 3 times. When I got my drink there was no whipped cream, after that I asked to buy a $5 giftcard to pay for my drink and then was lectured about how they are a small business and was told that the obvious better decision was to buy a $25 gift card when I would get a free drink. I respectfully declined the offer as I don't go to the cart often. Then, I was further lectured about how every swipe costs them a percentage and how my paying with a card was such an inconvenience. Then, the cherry on top the woman told me to "just carry some cash". Sorry, won't...
Read moreThis cute little coffee cottage is under new ownership and is owner-operated. Cute, unique menu. I had an oat milk shaken espresso, and it was so smooth & flavorful. Good quality coffee beans. We went back later in the day to try the energy drinks. They were so good! We had the Moonbeam & Unicorn energy. We substituted the coconut milk for lemonade. If you donât like it too sweet, just get fewer pumps of syrup & it will be perfect! Please support small/locally owned businesses. If something isnât to your liking, it doesnât hurt to let them know so they can stay on the up & up with quality & customer...
