They made me park for ONE SWEET TEA!!!!! I went to this location around 10:00pm. I ordered a large sweet tea with no ice. They told me to pull up and wait for my sweet tea. I waited about ten minutes. A young gentlemen finally came to my car with a large order of food. I told him that it wasn't mine. He asked me what I was waiting on. I told him a sweet tea. He said "girl, they made you pull up for a sweet tea?" He was even shocked. He brought me out a sweet tea and a order of fries and apologized. He was very sweet and kind. I didn't complain because he was so nice. Ever since that night I have had nothing but issues with this location.
I have never been to a McDonald's that was this bad!! The customer service is horrible. The wait time is ridiculous. The wait time is always between 20-30 minutes for hamburgers!!
I moved to powder springs in 2013 and gave this location 5 stars because they were always on point.
I never had an issue until 2015!! What happened? I stopped going to this location after a few mishaps.
(Which was burned food. I ordered a chicken sandwich and 20 nuggets. The nuggets were so over cooked there wasn't any meat inside of the nuggets!! It was just skin! I called the location and the first employee hung up on me after I explained my issue. I called back again and asked for a manager. The manager wasn't better. She kept asking me to explain the issue again as if she didn't believe me.) Why on earth would I call and complain about food that I can eat? I wouldn't even waste my time! She finally told me to bring the food back and she would replace it. When i took the food back NO ONE KNEW anything about my issue and they even told me the manager had left for the night. Which i didn't believe. Finally after sitting at the window for about ten minutesa gentlemen came to the window and replaced my entire order. But this time I got food that I didn't even order!!! I don't know if they were giving me extra or if they just didn't know what they were doing.)
I went to this location two weeks ago because I took my children to the park across the street.
The cashier was extremely slow taking orders and even skipped a few customers to make orders for the drive-thru when there were already FOUR people making orders for the drive-thru.🤷🏾🤦🏾 And the employees working the drive-thru was JUST STANDING THERE looking at a lobby full of customers while the cashier up front was making food for the drive-thru. Every employee in the building looked lost and confused, even the damn manager. This is an ongoing issue at this location. Slow workers and a long wait time. The young gentlemen who FINALLYA decided to come help in the front was packing orders very slowly and I believe he was doing it on purpose because every customer upfront was complaining. The woman in front of me ordered ONE cheeseburger and she started going off after waiting for 15 minutes. I don't blame her. Even when I asked for my money back the light skin gentleman packing the orders started moving EVEN slower. He didn't care about the customers or the concerns we had. It's called FAST food for a reason. If people wanted to wait 20-30 minutes for food we would have went somewhere else.
There isn't many fast food restaurants near this McDonald's so you don't have much to choose from in this area. Granted, there is a Dairy Queen next door and a taco bell across the street. So you're better off going to Dairy Queen or Taco Bell. You'll get your food...
Read moreThis was the worst McDonald's ever. We were heading to Whitewater on June 27th with my daughter and 5 grandsons. The 4 year old wanted fries, so we pulled into this McDonald's. My daughter did a mobile order and let the teens add what they wanted. We got to the drive thru window and the girl handed us the food. My daughter asked if that's everything. The employee said yes. I spent $31.11 + $10.37. We left the drive thru and headed on our way to the park. I passed all the food out. And the 2 teens asked for their drinks. I looked at the receipt and it showed 2 drinks. A sweet tea and a med. lemonade was ordered. We didn't have time to go back, so I called the restaurant. I figured we could stop by on the way home. The phone rang about 8 times, recording said this phone does not allow messages at this time. We went to the waterpark. We started to close. Left the park and headed home with a stop back at the McDonald's. We got in the Mc Donald's drive thru again. We did another mobile order for $16. At the speaker my daughter said that she has a mobile order and when we were here earlier we didn't receive our drinks and we had our receipt. The employee told us to let them know at the next window. When we got to the window my daughter explain what happened and that we had our receipt. He looked at the receipt and said I'll give you a sweet tea, but lemonade is $5 and I'm not giving you a lemonade. I spoke up and asked why, since I had paid for it and I tried to call back. He yelled back that I'm the GM and nothing you can say is going to change my mind, because I can't prove that it happened. He gave her the tea, so we left. I have never been treated so badly by anyone working in the customer service industry. In total I spent $57.48 and I was basically accused of trying to steal $5 when I spent almost $60. Instead of giving him another dime of my money I got the teen a drink from the Taco Bell across the street. And that Taco Bell has great customer service. I suggest if you're in Powder Springs don't get McDonald's it's...
Read moreVisited McDonald's drive through, I ordered a simple ice coffee with a shot of espresso. The cashier wasn't very pleasant to begin with, she kept repeating my order in a sarcastic tone, as if she was expecting me to change it... There were several cars ahead of me and several cars behind. By the time I arrived at the pickup window my order was not complete. I waited a total of 25 minutes, AT THE WINDOWN, for my beverage... Apparently, there was an issue with the espresso machine. So the cashier kept coming back to the window (twice) and let me know she was trying to get the espresso. With a long delayed pause, as if to allow me the time to cancel my order. I was quite surprised that they never recommend I pull over, seeing as how there were AT LEAST 10 other cars behind me at this time. I offered to pull to the side, and their attitude was "you ordered it, so wait for it". They never apologized, they never offered anything for my EXTENDED WAIT. I had two children in the car and it was almost 90 degrees outside. Finally, I insisted that they cancel the espresso and give me my order as is. They offered a pie to cover the extra Dollar I paid. Personally, I feel after INSISTING a customer wait, a ridiculous amount to of time. You owe them an apology, and something to compensate for the wait. Not just to balance their bill, because you don't want to go through having to issue a refund. Also, it's extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate of others, to make EVERYONE wait in DRIVE THROUGH, while you work on one order. The reason why people choose drive through, is for faster...
