Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Prattville

My wife and I were traveling south and stopped for the night in Prattville for the night. We selected this restaurant using Google. We mostly ordered the fish from the menu and it was excellent. I gave the food and atmosphere a 5 star rating. I gave the service a 2 star rating based on the following: Our server came to our table soon after we were seated and took our drink order. Another server quickly returned with our drinks. By then we were ready to order but our server was nowhere in sight. After waiting over 15 minutes with a hungry 1 year old, we stopped another server and asked her to have our server return to take our order. The family sitting next to us overheard our conversation with the other server and said we are also looking for her for drink refills. About 2 minutes later our server returned and apologized for being so long in returning. She was very good for the remainder of our meal. In her defense, she may have had some sort of personal emergency, but if so, she should have asked someone to cover for her. We went there today and were very disgusted and disappointed. It was my fiance, two friends, and I. One of my friends got a grilled cheese kids meal and it had several white hairs that looks like from a cat or old lady. Then she found hair that was black and short in the food. The water we received too also had a skin flake that is presumed to be a callous from the palm of the hand. We saw it float from the ice to the bottom of the drink when it was handed to us. Sadly we had no courage to bring the issue up about the water, that is our fault. I forgot to take pictures of the food with hair in it, but I have a picture of the skin in the water. It was small yet disgusting. We told her about the food and said we didn’t want it remade. Her appetite was ruined. She got it remade, which I guess is nice. We didn’t want to pay for that and no longer wanted it. It was still on our ticket though, which was upsetting. The lady was standing over me when the tip option popped up to pay. I do tip well (18-20% mostly), but it was made very uncomfortable. Food is overpriced here, okay service, very bad quality, okay food....

Very poor service. Sign up said seat yourself. Sat down got walked past by two servers a few times before anyone acknowledged our arrival and offers a drink. When they brought the drink we were informed they were not our server. Our server finally showed up took an order and left. Another server delivered our food. No one asked did we need drink refills. We finally got up with our glass to go try and get our own. A server, not ours saw us and filled our cups but didn’t get ice so brought another cup with ice. Our server must have seen all this then showed up with more drinks after it was too late. We were ready to pay and leave so when our check was dropped we put our card out and once again our server was MIA. I saw her sitting at another customers table B.S.ing . Finally I walked to the door and stood there until someone came to see what I needed. I said I want to pay so I can get out of here. Service is terrible at this place. I highly recommend you don’t go if you want good service. Bottom line your server will take your order and drop the bill. Nothing else matters. You are...
