Midtown Pizza Kitchen — Restaurant in Prattville

I was actually there the same day as the review below, and while I completely understand the frustration with long wait times, I wanted to share what I observed as a fellow customer and long-time supporter of this locally owned gem.

The restaurant was absolutely unpredictably slammed all at once. It seemed like everyone decided to come in at the exact same time. The two employees working the floor were definitely overwhelmed, but I could see they were doing their best to take care of everyone as quickly and kindly as they could. When the couple left, visibly frustrated, I noticed the employees were genuinely upset and concerned. It clearly bothered both of them and they talked about it afterward with true sincerity. It was just a perfect storm, a tough moment on a tough day.

I’ve always found the food and overall atmosphere here to be excellent, and it’s one of my favorite spots in town. I know firsthand how much heart the team puts into this place. Hopefully others won’t let one tough day cloud their view of such a great...

Very disappointed in your staff today. We had 2 orders that were made wrong after waiting a while for our food. Staff offered to remake them and then we would have to wait additional time while our 3rd person would be finished with their food. The guy working at the oven was clearly aggravated when this was brought to his attention. We reluctantly decided to just keep the items to save time. The manager on duty needs some customer service training. He never said he was sorry for the orders being wrong and when I asked for a discount he offered $4 when both items were $10 each. He told me that he couldn’t take an item off the bill and besides that barely said 2 words when I expressed his lack of customer service. Wow what a terrific find Just outside of Montgomery in Prattville.

Elizabeth our server was magnificent friendly and super welcoming felt like we were having dinner with family.

Pizza was absolutely incredible had pepperoni 12-in had him cook it a little extra which gave it the perfect crispy bottom. That was enough for my wife and I to feel very full after we had most of the cheese bread. Cheese bread which is very similar to a cheesy pizza without sauce was delicious and super filling.

Ranch was amazing and absolutely loved it tasted homemade not too thick not too thin not too tangy not too sweet perfect.
