Gringo's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Prescott

I have a problem..of not eating until I’m so hungry I’m going to throw up unless I eat. So I love tacos and this place was real close to my work. I got there, looked at the menu for 60 seconds. Asked the guy if I should get the fish tacos or gringo taco. He said if I liked fish it would not disappoint. I said ok, mahi mahi taco it is but no pico. He seemed offended I didn’t like raw tomato lol Asked me if I liked mango salsa and guac. I thought, I respect another chef. Make it the way you think it should be made.

Oh my GAWD. 🤤 to die for. I will crave this again very soon and then probably become addicted. #sorrynotsorry I wish I took a picture but it was gone hours ago.

Shawn and Holly catered our wedding and were great to work with! Totally flexible which was great during a pandemic wedding. The food and price were great! My MOH happened to have their tacos for lunch and then recommended to our friends they go there for lunch. I had to have her text everyone and go else where so they didn’t ruin dinner, so what I’m saying is...

Wow! Stopped here because the wife wanted lunch. She and I are food snobs and think Prescott doesn't have much to offer when it comes to culinary diversity or great food. Some are good enough to rate 4 stars but rarely does a place here hit above the mark. These guys do. They have the best tacos in Prescott! Let me know if you find any place...
