Marino's Mob Burgers and Ice Cream — Restaurant in Prescott

Went in for a burger got seated the waiter took our order got our drinks and waited for the burger, my girlfriend got hers and it was done great, mine they forgot the fried egg so they took it back and I waited while my girlfriend finished her burger my burger showed up egg was super well done and no yolk left waiter left had to flag him down for my bbq sauce looked over the burger and no mustard had to flag him down for that but couldn't get his attention so we asked another waitress and she went and got it then I went to cut the burger and no knife couldn't get his attention so asked other waitresses again, cut the burger and it was well done not medium rare so at his point I've given up on getting his attention and I just eat so I can get out of here I flag down the other waitress so I could get a refill on my drink because it took so long I finished that while waiting,eat by myself because my girls burger has been done for a while now. I've been watching the table next to us and their waitresses has been back to there table about 6 times now and I cant even get him to come back over he finally comes back over and asked if want a check (no keep it I thought) we paid the bill and left...

Updated review 6-18-23 Wife brought me here for a surprise Father's day lunch with my kids and I was putting on a happy face given the review I gave this place last time (2 and a half stars). But I can happily report that something has changed for the better! The food and fun factor has returned from the Mob burger I remembered from 6 years ago. Food was great and Bree our server, who was on her first day there was very personable and accommodating! So happy to have my old place back. Really 2 and a half stars. First tried this place almost 6 years ago and the entire experience was excellent. Since that time, and several visits since, the food quality has waned. Where it had been memorable it now seams run of the mill. The employees once seemed vibrant and fun and now go through the motion with seaming indifference. The entire feel of this place has changed. Marino's is a wonderful restuarant to take your family out to lunch and dinner. Their most famous for their ice cream Gelato and other assorted treats along with the unique 1920's themed food.

There are a few problems I have ran into for the past many experiences I have dined in that really impact it. The soda beverages are extremely watered down, and does not taste good to drink after maybe 5 sips. Which is unfortunate because the food is really good! Now after eating a messy burger you would need to use the restroom to wash your hands, they have always never had paper towels when I have eaten here. This may be a nitpick, but I assure you for what you are eatingis messy but delicious and napkins wont be enough. Finally, and this is important for anyone who reads reviews to know what they are getting into. The ice cream is absolutely mediocre. You sincerely are better off going to BaskenRobbins for good ice cream. Marino's ice cream sells overpriced and re-frozen ice cream that just doesn't cut it for a good dessert.
