My husband and I moved to Prescott from Chicago in November and have had a heck of a time finding a decent place to eat around here. Obviously our standards are high especially with pizza so please take this review with a grain of salt. I'll start with the service. We ordered on a Tuesday right after Prescott got slammed with like 18 inches of snow. We were able to order online, however didn't see any closure on their website, facebook page, or any of the Prescott/PV group pages. When we called the phone just rang, and the voicemail didn't say anything about being closed either. After 2 hours we just assumed they were closed. My husband left two messages, the first asking if the driver was okay of course and the second asking to give us a call back to speak about a refund. After my husband got home from work today I asked if he received a call from the restaurant. He said no but he would call and see tonight. When we called the gentleman who answered was very helpful and nice. He told us they just straight up refunded the card we used. Which was nice however we still preferred the food so we decided to re order. Theres tons of styles to choose from for pizza but we decided with the popular pan pizza. They have tons of toppings options and specialty pizzas as well. We also got cheese bread and mozzarella sticks as well. The gentleman my husband talked to informed us that tonight they still were not delivering so we would have to pick it up. No problem there just a little inconvenient. My husband came home and opened the pizza and we were a little shocked. It was square almost like a Detroit style pizza. We are open minded so we dug in nonetheless. We were both very disappointed with the taste and texture of the actual pizza. The crust was almost sweet and so very thin. We asked for extra sauce and if that was extra sauce I would hate to see the regular sauced pizza. I immediately stopped eating since I was just very disappointed but my husband being the black hole that he is continued eating his portion. Again, absolutely comes down to preference and we had high standards as well and not to mention we might have just ordered the wrong kind. The cheese bread was to die for however, and mozzarella sticks were good as well. We will definitely give it another shot just for the service we received on the...
Read moreWe were in town for my birthday weekend and wanted good pizza but not a chain. We are foodies and love trying new places wherever we go. We looked at reviews and Two Mama's came up and Bills pizzeria. Before we headed out to do some site seeing we already had our hearts set on Two Mama's. We talked to a local business owner on Gurley street who has owned for 20 years. I asked him about Two Mama's and Bill's. He liked both but said by far Two Mama's was by far the best! We were excited to try it out. We walked in and Carrie greeted us right away. It felt very cozy and like home as we sat down. We ordered half order of garlic bread to start. I am Italian and know good food when I get it. The garlic bread was delicious and the marinara sauce served with it was soooooo good! Tasted homemade and it had just a zip to it!! Perfect. My husband orderd the deep dish Goomba pizza and I ordered hand tossed Supremo. Came out fast and perfect. We ordered the small for both and we had leftovers. Big portions!! We were very happy with food and service by Carrie. Ended dinner with a delicious cannoli complements of the restaurant for birthday day. We will definitely be back with our family next time we are here. We recommend...
Read moreI went here for lunch with a coworker. The food is absolutely fantastic, the service was terrible. We ordered two lunch specials with one slice and a salad. Got our salads, waited almost 45 minutes for our slices. No refills, nothing. Another table got their multiple pizzas before we get our two. I flagged her down to ask what's going on, she blamed it on the cook and said his ticket never came through. Another 10 minutes goes by. Waitress finally comes back, no apologies or anything for the wait, and I asked for our checks since we were almost out of time. She comes back, doesn't even walk all the way to the table and throws the books on the table between us. We put our stuff in almost immediately since we were now cutting it close, and comes back and grabs them then throws them back on the table. Mind you, I said please and thank you each time she came over. My coworker even said to stop being polite because she was being so unreasonably rude. Never said another word to us. This was only my second time there, and I can honestly say neither of us will being going back. Such a shame to say since the food was so amazing. I've never had such a...
