Could I have taken a better photo? Yes. Did I? Absolutely not because we were in a rush to eat everything. Maybe next time I will take a better picture but basically it was amazing.
The restaurant is super clean, wait staff was super attentive and nice, portions are just right and they constantly refill the broth. The condiments in the beginning are a hefty amount (we were given minced garlic, spring onions, soy sauce, bbq sauce (?), sesame oil, vinegar) and theres so many options on the menu.
We ordered the spare ribs (2), the mushroom platter, watercress, and we wanted to order more but I guess we stuffed ourselves too quick. We had the half n half butter soup and spicy mala and whew the spicy broth is no joke spicy but still really good.
They also package all the leftovers (broth included) for to go!
My only complaint would be more of just constructive criticism and probably be just asking to cut the mushrooms a bit more thinly or provide kitchen scissors so we can make better cuts. However it's such a small complaint.

Read moreFor a few years now my wife has been watching Korean television on Netflix, so for our annniversary trip I had to make sure she got to try hot pot.
Bustling on a Sunday night but not noisy, we had to wait maybe 5 minutes for a table..not bad at all.
Good variety on the drinks menu and while the Zombie looked tempting I stuck with ginger ale.
A wide variety of options (some sold out but that's the new normal) so we had beef and chicken and tofu with bone broth/spicy vegetarian broth (Medium) and veggies.
Confession- before tonight I'd never used chopsticks for an entire meal. Nobody laughed at my efforts.
Refills and advice were swift and respectful and the staff wasn't obtrusive.
'Medium' was what Minnesotans would call 'Extra Hot' but I adapted and the taste came through along with the heat.
Rice buns for dessert capped off the meal, time well spent with ample food for our money.
Not an experience to miss, even if you have to get silverware (at the...
Read moreFood was excellent, albeit over priced. The service was okay, not great. We also had to ask repeatedly for basic things, such as a refill of water or an additional fork. At one point we hadn’t seen our waiter in over 15 minutes so I had to go up to the hostess in order to ask for something. Overall I would have given it a four out of five stars if it were not for our final interaction with our waiter. We paid the bill and left a small tip. On our way out our waiter actually brought the bill back to us and commented on how small our tip was. He asked if there was a problem with the service. I replied no and he then persisted and asked “why was the tip so small then?” Overall I felt like the interaction with our waiter was incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional. Yes it is absolutely good to tip your waiter however one should not be harassed if the waiter perceives the tip amount...
