We were looking for a place to eat near the PPAC that would be close to parking and the show. We found this gem of a place. You walk down the stairs into a fun place to eat. We liked the way Providence GPub is set up. My brother started with the Clili-Cheese Tater Tots. Just the right amount cheese and chili. My wife and I each a cup of the House Made Chili. A very hearty chili with a good amount of beef and beans. Flavor was very good. For dinner, my with had the Sesame-Ginger Chicken Salad. There was plenty of chicken and the flavor was excellent. My brother had the fish and chips, can't go wrong with that meal. I had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Club. Very tasty seasoning with excellent fries. Our server was very pleasant. All in all a very good time at the GPub. I would recommend this location if you are in the area for a show at the PPAC.

I recently hung out at Providence G-Pub, and it was an absolute blast! The bartender? Super friendly, super kind – a rock star. Now, let’s talk nachos – G-Pub nachos, to be exact. The cheese sauce? Out of this world. I loved it so much that next time, I’m going all-in on nachos with that amazing cheese sauce or just a big bowl of chips and queso. That’s how good it was. Tried the wings too. They were good, but you know what? I’m going back for more, and this time, I’ll ask for ’em extra crispy. Who can resist crispy wings, right? Missed their happy hour, but honestly, it didn’t even matter because the whole experience was a win. The vibe, the food, and the stellar service made my day. Providence G-Pub, you’ve got a fan in me. Can’t wait to dive back into those cheesy delights and check out the happy hour next time. Cheers to fun times! 🎉🍻

You have to enter the building through the revolving door walk to the back and right after the sliding doors the staircase will be down and to your left, it's a basement bar but Has a pretty good atmosphere. I got wings (half plain and half buffalo) and fried pickles for apps. A bacon double burger with fries, a rack of lamb with the spinach and potato croquettes. For dessert had the honey creme brulee. 4 drinks; 2 espresso martini and 2 plum pomegranate spritz. Every thing came to $146.86. not bad for a meal for two in Providence. I would pass on the croquettes to be honest... It was very plain. Everything else was fantastic and I will be going back. Oh! They have a small arcade and 2 pool tables at the end of the restaurant!

My recent visit to Providence G Pub was a stark contrast to the vibrant, engaging atmosphere I've come to expect. Formerly a hotspot for socializing, good food, and enjoyable games, my experience this time around left much to be desired.

The evening started promisingly enough, gathering with friends for a game of pool. However, what should have been a simple game turned into a frustrating ordeal when the cue ball got lodged in the machine after a scratch. Seeking assistance, we approached the manager, who initially seemed accommodating, assuring us he'd retrieve the necessary key to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, that assurance turned hollow as time passed, and the manager never returned. Instead, we observed him nonchalantly wandering the premises, seemingly indifferent to our plight.

This incident cast a shadow over what used to be a fun-filled establishment. What once felt like a lively hub for entertainment now resembled a neglected arcade with appalling customer service. The neglect we experienced significantly tarnished the overall experience. The fact that the food at Providence G Pub remains commendable only highlights the stark contrast between the quality of the cuisine and the abysmal decline in service.

It's disheartening to witness such a drastic shift in the establishment's standards. The neglect of patrons' needs and the dismissive attitude displayed by the manager toward a simple request for assistance marred what could have been an enjoyable evening. I hope that management takes these concerns seriously and works to restore the once-uplifting ambiance and reliable service that patrons used to associate with Providence G Pub. Until then, it's regrettable to say that my future visits to this establishment...

This could have easily been a 4 or 5 star review. They started losing points quickly starting when our party of four had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, even though the pub was half empty. A staff member walked by and said “we’ll be right with you,” and we continued to wait for 5 minutes.

When we were finally seated, the hostess sat us in a booth directly behind a party of six who were being loud and obnoxious. I asked her if we could move to a different booth (since there were six open booths, no need to sit directly next to another party). Hostess asked if we would like to sit in the back of the pub to get away from everyone else. I asked “is it a booth?” She said “‘no, the only booths are over here.” I said, “well we’d like a booth, just not next to this other party since they’re being loud.” She rolled her eyes at me and said “well YOU tell me where you’d like to sit and I’ll clean the table for you,” very rudely, and gave a very fake smile.

After that bad start. I really liked the style and the scenery of the pub. Very comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly. Has the potential to be a great place to visit, if you can get good service from the staff.

Most of our party was satisfied with the food. I personally ordered the goat-cheese ravioli. It was delicious, I would rate it 9/10 for flavor. I was, however, a bit dissatisfied that I only got 6 ravioli’s for $17. The ingredients seemed high quality, but I didn’t even get some bread or a small side. Also ordered a draft beer for $7, a bit pricey especially considering it came in a plastic solo cup.

Has the potential to be a great place to visit, but probably won’t be coming back.

Overall: Service - 5/10 Food - 9/10 Atmosphere -...

While the food is good and the restaurant spacious, I don't feel as if this is a place I leave extremely happy with at the end. I have been here a couple of times since they opened and this past time was for the advertised country night. I was celebrating my birthday and made sure too look online at their page, but when we arrived we were told there were no BBQ plates going on and no drink specials either. So obviously I was naturally disappointed even though I just decided to continue on. I ordered a cocktail, the lavender moon, which i should start out by saying they were extremely overpriced. The drink was beautiful with it's bright lavender purple color but tasted absolutely terrible, sort of like lemon rind. I was going to order a beer next but the tap options wasn't really calling out to me so I got the g tea and I don't think that was much better than the lavender moon. The food however was all pretty good. We ordered the tuna bites and calamari for appetizers. The tuna bites were delicious and probably my favorite part of the meal. Then I ordered buffalo Mac and cheese and my boyfriend ordered a fish sandwich. Both dishes were a little underwhelming but tasted good atleast. My friend ordered the b.l.t.a and the bread looked good. Overall I left regretting even going there for my birthday, for the price we paid we could of had a better meal somewhere else and it wasn't really what...
