While the food was decent, regrettably the General manager Christopher Moore was about as obnoxious and pompous as they come. We had made reservations for this past weekend to celebrate a major milestone and had requested to be sat in a quiet corner. Upon arrival, we were sat at a table that was closest to the bar and to the entrance of the restaurant, which was terribly loud due to several tipsy/drunk women screeching by the bar. My father is hard of hearing which is why we originally requested to be sat further away from the general crowd. After a certain point it got so loud that no one could hear one another at the table, so we requested to be moved - which is a fairly normal request at any restaurant. My partner ended up going to talk to Christopher, to which he was met with a belligerent attitude and was blatantly rude to him and denied our request even after we mentioned that the reason we would like to move is because of my fathers inability to hear us from 1 ft away. We had spoken to our waitress several times at this point and she unfortunately was not able to move us due to Christophers refusal. At this point everyone was upset. We tried speaking to Christopher again, but then he proceeded to yell at us telling us that he has 100 + reservations that night and then proceeds to order all of us to sit down as if we were 5 year old's and then storms away. At that point we were ready to leave. Thankfully, our angel of a waitress Lindsey was able to eventually move us to a quiet table in the back that was open the whole time and is just kept empty for potential reservations. We were there for 3 + hours and noticed that there were at least 1-3 tables open throughout the night so there was no way he could not have accommodated us. Also, we would have been okay with the situation if he had approached us in a kinder manner but instead Christopher decided to go the most abrasive path possible. We went out for a celebration dinner and this is the kind of service we were met with. I have never been one to have issues at restaurants especially with the staff as I have worked in restaurants before and usually side with the staff in many instances but this was absolutely absurd. The one good thing I will say is that our waitress Lindsey was a sweetheart and did her best to accommodate us the whole night and very personable and nice. This situation was not her fault at all and I wish she was not caught up in the middle of it. Overall, I do not foresee myself going back to this establishment as for me it is not worth it to go back and relive the nightmare that is...
Read moreCame here on a Thursday night, beginning of June. As soon as we reached the bottom of the stairs, The gentleman who was hosting looked at us as if we were not allowed in the place, he did not greet us and had a very dry, unwelcoming attitude and disposition.
We were a party of 7 looking to grab some drinks. When we approached the host we were told they were having a private event at the bar. Completely Understandable. The host did not extend an offer to other sitting options, as there was a full dining room EMPTY at the time. It took us to proceed and ask if it was possible to sit in the dining room. He said yes, then awkwardly walked off and headed to the back of the dining room were it looked as though he was slowly and hesitantly putting a table together. There were a group of gentleman sitting off to the right, he had a few words with them and walked back to us. At that time, the host asked if we were guests of the hotel, in which we replied, no. The gentleman within our party (older men ranging from 40’s - 60’s we clearly were not a younger disturbing type crowd) at this point felt disrespected and beyond disgusted with the approach the host had with us. Every beautiful feature of the facility had now looked dreary and ugly!
Moral of this particular story is - Looks can only take you so far!! You need to have personality, depth, warmth and a welcoming establishment to carry the weight! That goes for the place itself and the hostess with clearly NO mostess!
There were many different ways to approach your guests, private party and all. He did it in every WRONG, AWKWARD...

Wanted to grab a quick drink when we got back before going up so stopped in at 10:15. There was about 7 people at the bar and 3 bar tables with customers....no one seated in the restaurant. We did not walk in to an empty bar. When we sat down, we were not acknowledged by either of the two bartenders. Instead, one walked by us 3 times, as the other one stood to the side. At one point, the one standing looked at his watch and said to the other bartender "good thing there's only 15 minutes until last call" and glanced our way. So this means we still had 15 minutes to order. We would have been gone before "closing". At this point it was our choice to get up and leave, but if making two drinks is such a hassle for you to do in 15 minutes, then you probably shouldn't be working as a bartender. I've worked in that business. I understand being tired (working at bars open until 2am) or having a bad day, but for both of them to ignore us was unprofessional and rude. I'm big with a simple "Hi, I will be right with you", if you are busy, but although they had customers, they were not busy serving them. They were concerned about getting out of there and cleaning. Avoid simply for that reason. There are so many other places we visited while there, all with amazing service and attentive...
