Moo Smashed Burgers & Bar — Restaurant in Provincetown

A fantastic experience last night at Terraza. No reservations, but the host had a couple of seats at the bar for us. The bartender Alejandro was making some beautiful, tasty cocktails, the Watermelon Jalapeño Margarita and the Kiwi Honey Caipirinha were standouts. Speaking of standouts, the food was just delicious, we had the Ceviche which had Scallops, Shrimp and Cod in it (they also have a vegan version), the T&T Tuna on Tostones (nice and spicy) and an amazing Grilled Watermelon Salad that was topped with whipped pistachio goat cheese. Went and ordered a burger to a mostly empty restaurant (about 10 people in the whole place) and waited 20 minutes before I went to check on my order. When I asked, they then told me it was going to be another 15 minutes to get my food. I ordered a burger and some chips, for the record.

I asked to be refunded, and the person behind the counter told me “I don’t know how to do that”. I asked him if he could figure it out, and instead of refunding to my card, they handed me an ambiguous amount of cash? I had to point out that I had tipped on my card and needed that refunded too.

If you don’t know how to run a business, just say that. Embarrassing...

Our burgers were cold, hard, and dry. Our food came out incredibly fast which made us think they might’ve had a pile of premade burger patties ready to go. In this case, speedy service was a big detriment because it sacrificed the quality of the food completely. There are 20 other places I’d recommend for a cheap, easy meal in Ptown before this. “Moo”?...
