Balducci's House of Pizza — Restaurant in Quincy

Hated it. This place is a no go. Here's why;

I was planning on eating here so I got their Groupon and then went there with my brother. At the payment, the guy took my phone, checked the groupon. When he saw groupon he was visibly upset and left really fast, expecting no tip. I usually tip generously when I use groupon(+20%) btw. Anyway, after we got our pizza, I went to grab some parmesan and came back and started putting it on pizza and I hear them laugh. So it turns out that they put salt in the parmesan container (a big, regular parmesan container with HUGE holes) with no labeling at all. When I noticed that it was salt, half of the pizza was already ruined(huge holes). Ofcourse this killed the most of the pizza. After we ate what we could, noone asked how it was, how was everything or said goodbye. And no, the place was not busy, it was just us and a single guy.

TL,DR: they are either too lazy to buy a salt container or put a label on the current one, or they like...

Great place and great service here. The staff is friendly and truly amazing. I stopped her to purchase lunch and glad I did.i purchased an Italian sub and a slice of cheese pizza. The meats are Boar’s Head and the pizza was delicious too. The part that caught my attention was when a family who also eating there was having an issue with there child. He started to cry and act up. As any young child would do when something upsets them. The lady behind the counter-notice the parents trying there best to calm the child when out of nowhere the employee grabbed crayons and paper and off to the rescue she was. Excellent pizza. Crispy crust with good gluten development so the edge crust has a chewy interior. Nice cheese blend, and tasty sauce. Great cheese pizza. I always consider the regular cheese pizza the standard for comparing different pizzerias. We also got a salami, onion and green pepper pizza that was cooked perfectly. The best was a side of chicken tenders that I ordered just to try out. Some of the best tasting fried chicken I have ever had. Whatever their breading is it's perfect, not too salty, not plain but not to spicy. I've been going here for over fifty years and thankfully whoever owns it now has kept up high level of quality food. Thank you...
