Had issues with this location in the past. Nothing surpasses today... Cashier ended up insulting me essentially. Tune in for a juicy read, needed to vent this one, but in all seriousness don't go to this Chipotle. Ever.
The new standard for this location is not accepting any orders in the store, and forcing everyone to order online. Not a massive deal for me as a 24 year old but I've seen older people, and parents just walk out at the news. Probably not the most economical thing to do at 2:00pm on Saturday. Not that any of the employees care about how much the chipotle makes. I asked one of the employees why they do it before the altercation and it's to reduce the number of dishes they have to do, just lazy. After waiting 15 minutes I looked back at my order that I placed for pickup through DoorDash when I realized it went to the SouthBay location. This is extremely odd they probably turned off doordash ordering for this location because I've never de-selected the location and geographically I was in the building so it makes no sense other than it wasn't available and defaulted to another location.... When I showed the cashier the mistake and asked if they could make my order here she said cancel it and re-order essentially ignoring the fact that I'd now have to go through doordash and argue for the money back which I wasn't even successful doing since the order was made and in their eyes it's my fault. I told her I used to work at Chipotle and I know they have literally a budget per day of meals they can comp for situations exactly like that. I used to do it when I worked there in highschool. She then had the audacity to say "No we can't do that this isn't going to be your payday" insinuating I was trying to scam for my 18 dollar Chipotle order... I turned around walked out the store foodless and 20 dollars poorer. Drove home, and am typing this up hangry. But thought it was worth a share. Moral of the story management at this location is non-existent, the cashier was the rudest individually I've ever experience in customer service, and if she's actually the manager like she said she is, that's a...
Read moreWhen they scooped the chicken for my bowl, the girl (who was chewing gum by the way, that’s nasty and a health code vio) wasn’t looking and dropped some off the spoon. I said kindly sorry, could you do a little bit more? She said “double?” I said, no just a tiny bit more. She scooped a tiny bit more (no more than the tip of the spoon) and I was happy with that.
The problem becomes when I wasn’t done ordering and they put the lid on. I said, “oops! I’m not done, Can I add guacamole please?” They ignored me. I say louder “can I add more???” Ignored again. She’s staring at me smiling and shutting it, and says to the guy next to her “double chicken” and I’m like no I actually didn’t get double chicken! I say to the guy bagging, I didn’t get double chicken by the way, it was one scoop.
The person at the register who I now know is named FRANSHELY (more on this later) interrupted me and pointed at me and said “next time, you’re paying for double chicken” I was polite at first and tried to explain “no, I didn’t she added the portion that fell off the-“ I’m interrupted and she continues with an attitude that I’m honestly shocked that someone is talking to me like this. She started at about a 7/10 attitude. I ask if I can speak and explain and she continues talking over me and says “no, you can’t talk. Shut up.” And I just walk out.
I call chipotle corporate and they need the person’s name-so I go back inside to the register with a pen and ask the cashier “what’s your name?” And she goes “I don’t have a name” and I turn to the other worker “what’s her name” the person goes “don’t worry about it” I then snatched the receipt out of the machine because I know it has the person who’s logged in name. Again, FRANSHELY. Obviously this ticks her off but here’s the thing:
She started with an extremely rude attitude. I don’t know if someone else had ticked her off but I was just trying to explain what happened. Let the customer talk. Don’t talk over people and so aggressively. No one deserves that. I’m shocked because last week it was a different staff who were perfectly pleasant.
FRANSHELY needs to be...
Read moreI have given this chipotle numerous chances and every single time they’ve fallen short. It would be one thing if it was just poor service (which trust me, you will get here) but we have repeatedly not gotten items we have paid for. We moved to the area recently and have been frequenting this chipotle. Our first time, all of the employees had terrible attitudes. I work in the service industry as well, and I can understand being frustrated in a rush. As much as it was a poor experience, we like chipotle. so we returned. The next time, they entirely forgot to put one of our bowls in the bag. we also had chips and drinks so my boyfriend did not realize it until we got home. he went back to the store and they gave him the other bowl, with the excuse that they had a trainee on and he messed it up. If that’s the case, shouldn’t someone be supervising what he’s doing? But we again let it slide because it was a trainee, but every other experience has continued to be awful. From forgetting our queso we paid for, forgetting our chips we paid for, ordering online and picking up bowls that are only 1/3 of the way full and bowls that are missing ingredients we ordered (my bowl just last night was 1/3 full and missing beans, which I ordered, while my boyfriends bowl had twice the amount of food despite us ordering the exact same way), the bad attitudes from employees, and the horrible parking situation, we are about finished going to this chipotle. I really hope they can sort out whatever is wrong there whether it be staff or management because I understand mistakes but when it’s every single time you order, there’s clearly...
