Ended up driving off without my order as the drive through wait time was unbearable. Surprisingly, I was the only person in line—not busy at all. While waiting, I had the opportunity to observe the employees through the drive thru window. I would have tolerated the wait, but what discouraged me was the fact that several employees were preparing orders without their PPE covering their oreface’s. A mask is supposed to cover ALL oraface’s, not just the mouth. One employee was drinking water—pulled her mask down, took a sip, pulled the mask back up and proceeded to prepare an order without washing hands 🤨. That’s when I decided that this MacDonalds location is not for me. Furthermore, the horsing around and hugging of fellow employees while on duty seems out of place. When calling the manager for a refund—he stated that I would have to show up in person and present him with a receipt as their system can’t issue refunds over the phone. Understandable to a degree. Uuuhhh okay?? I did give you an order number and called within 10 minutes of leaving. Anyway, no biggie. It’s $12. I’d much rather lose the money, than potentially get an ailment from a location that seems to be so lackadaisical when it comes to following the state guidelines regarding food prep and proper pandemic prevention. It just doesn’t feel safe you know? Hopefully, you guys can take the necessary steps and iron out some of the wrinkles in your...
Read moreThe delicate communication in placing an order is non-existent. All I asked to do was to make a breakfast sandwich meal without a particular ingredient. They said that I would have to order it individually. It makes no sense. Just take the egg off OR don't put the egg on. Please just make the sandwich and don't give me egg. I don't understand what the issue was. Why charge me $3 more because I don't want something? It makes no sense. I didn't even ask them to replace the egg with something else. Nor did I ask them to add another topping. All I asked them to do is not give me the egg.
Do you have pre-made food and warm it up for people?
All that needed to be done was make the sandwich without egg. That's it. This still confuses me. Now I have to dig through the sandwich and separate the egg from the melted cheese. They didn't ask me to pull to the side, making the line super long during the situation. Now YOUR service numbers go down & your other drive-thru customers are upset. WTHeck, it was an easy ask.
A simple "We do not have an option for a sausage & cheese biscuit meal. You may order the sausage, egg and cheese meal & remove the egg, but the price remains the same." would have been great. When I asked them to do the above, they said 'no we can't do it. You have to pay separately.' If I ordered a quarter pounder meal without pickles, would there have been the same...
Read moreAlways ask for 1 thing and 1 thing only. The burger to be fresh. I always ask for that 1 thing only and tell them IT IS OKAY if I have to wait 20 minutes for my burger to be fresh. They always give me the coldest patties. I honestly do not care about anything else but they just straight up lie to your face. How is something completely fresh done in 10 seconds? Like it makes no sense. That’s the whole reason I tell them they can take their time making my burger it’s fine if I had to move to the side and wait 20 minutes. I understand it’s a fast food restaurant and maybe the quality people are used to is not good at all. However if you can’t do something, just tell the customer instead of lying to them to their face. Managers do not seem to care which makes sense, I guess they do not get paid enough to deal with customers like me (which I only have 1 special request quick is add cook to order) and somehow they always mess it up. This has happened 17 times in the last 7 months, I’m fed up. I always try to be the most educated and calm customer because I understand that it is a very stressful workplace but not enough just to lie to somebody’s face.
The only reason I waited to do this review it to give people a second chance but it’s just crazy how they don’t...
