Oh my goodness, let me tell you about this pizza place – it's a haven for thin crust enthusiasts! Without a doubt, it reigns supreme as the top thin pizza spot in the entire state of New Jersey. The thinness of the crust combined with its irresistible flavor is so captivating that it's not uncommon for one person to polish off an entire pie effortlessly. What sets this place apart is the exceptional service, particularly from the accommodating bartender who engages in friendly conversation, making newcomers feel right at home. Trust her recommendations; they're guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more, perhaps even prompting you to take some leftovers home. Conveniently situated in the heart of Rahway, with the train station just a brief 5-minute stroll away, accessibility is a breeze. Plus, for those indulging a bit too much, there's a nearby hotel for a comfortable night's stay. Parking is stress-free here – no need to worry about fees as there's ample parking available in the back lot. And even on busy days when street parking is scarce, there's a secure, budget-friendly garage just across the street, ensuring a silver lining to every situation. Need space for a gathering? Simply inquire about their upstairs area, complete with customizable pricing. In summary, this pizza joint offers not just incredible food, but a seamless experience from start to finish, making it a must-visit destination for pizza aficionados and party planners alike.

This was my first time here at this establishment as I heard so many great things. Located in downtown Rahway off of Main Street, Nancy’s Townehouse has a welcoming, old-school charm as one enters by going downstairs to their bar and restaurant complete with red checkered tablecloths. Loyal pizza followers and Italian food lovers come from near and far to taste their pizza pies which come in small (14-inch) and large (16-inch) which some of my colleague came today for lunch. Each features a thin, crispy crust with a variety of creative options such as mushrooms, clams, bacon, olives, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and more. While pizza is the main attraction, this establishment offers also appetizers, salads, soups, side dishes, and specialty pastas. We ordered 3 large pizza pies consisting of a plain, 1/2 mushroom and 1/2 green peppers with onions & the last one sausage. The crust was light and airy, no flop in the slice because it takes a long time to come out. The pie themselves were fresh and not greasy. The toppings were equally as fresh with good flavor in each bite. The service was good. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely be back as I recommend this place.

We visited Nancy's Towne House on a Saturday night and got lucky with the last table for two (quite small) at 5:30 pm. By 5:45pm, it was a full house (bar seating taken too!), so this place is clearly a local favorite! We went with the original large cheese pizza. While the sauce didn’t quite hit the mark for me personally, I’d still rate it a solid 7.9 (Dave Portnoy gave it an 8.8!). The Buffalo wings were stellar & definitely a highlight. Shoutout to Arielle, the manager, who was quick and on top of everything, and to Chloe, our sweet waitress, who gave great advice and told us a large pizza and Buffalo wings would be more than enough; she was right! The charm of the place (it gave me New England vibes, maybe Maine?) is the perfect backdrop to a cozy, enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to come back and try the Drunken Chicken Parm! Highly recommend this spot :)

I've been coming here for many years, my wife and I enjoy the food and the retro atmosphere. I felt compelled to write this review after my experience the other evening. On Tuesday, I made reservations for Friday. I confirmed the reservation on Friday afternoon and they said I was all set for 7pm. My friend and I were seeing an 8 pm show at UPAC and wanted to enjoy a pizza (which is always great) before the show. When we arrived at 6:50 the place was full. I told the server I had reservations for 7. The server told me I would be seated at the next available table. I was confused that there wasn't a table ready since I made a reservation. Like I stated I've been here many times and have seen that tables are reserved with a sign on the table so I felt confident we would be accommodated accordingly. Boy was I wrong. I asked our server to put in an order for a pie thinking that when we got seated it would be ready so we could eat and be on time for the show. We were finally seated around 7:40 and waited for our pizza. We noticed that people who arrived after us were already enjoying there dinner while we still waited. We inquired a few times only to be told that they can only cook so many pizzas at one time. Our server kind of spun it around and seemed to be annoyed by us. We finally got our pizza and ate it at a forced pace knowing we were losing time. We were late for the show and missed several songs from the band we came to see. Why make reservations here if you can't accommodate them? We will think twice about coming here again after the unacceptable service we received that...

You walk into a basement pretty much. They have their tables separated by plastic dividers. Which is nice so that each person has their own little privacy but you could see through the dividers. This was my first time here and I heard so many great things about their pizza and the thin crust so, my husband and I decided to have a date night and go to this place. We ordered the appetizer of the fried calamari it was a bit chewy. I got a Caesar salad which was good, I ordered the chicken parm meal and my husband ordered a grandma pie. The grandma pie came out and did not look like a grandma pie with the piece of fresh mozzarella and basil it look like a normal cheese pie I had to ask if this was the grandma pie. The crust was so thin it was like eating it on pita bread there was no crust, if you know what I mean. I like to have a thin crust pizza but I like to have a little crust. This had no crust at all. It was not as tasty as everybody made it sound the thin crust pizza or maybe it just wasn't my husband or mine taste. Maybe you need to try it for yourself but this place only get one 🌟 from me everybody that reads my blogs knows that I am a food critic. Oh and the chicken parm was good but, it still only gets a one-star from me because we specifically went there for the pizza I just so happened got chicken parm...
