Overall Rating: 4.9/10 This spot, nestled in the Food Hall, boasts its dedicated section and seating, presenting an appealing setup. While the place looks inviting and the food is generally good. Service: 5.2/10 The staff are friendly and accommodating, offering to send a text message when your order is ready, enhancing the convenience for guests. Ramen: 5.9/10 Though the ramen presents beautifully, its taste doesn't fully deliver. The broth leans on the salty side, and the noodles were undercooked, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Beef Taco: 8.2/10 A delightful surprise, this taco exceeded expectations with its perfect cooking and two distinct sauces that added depth to its flavor. Value: 2.1/10 The pricing feels steep at $24 for ramen and a single taco, especially when considering the taco's cost is just $4. Despite inquiring about the total, being reassured of its accuracy did little to mitigate the sticker shock, suggesting a potential oversight in pricing.

Yatai, located inside Transfer Food Hall, was an overall good experience. You order from a QR code on the table and they bring it out to you later. The food came out a bit slow; however, it was well worth the wait. The ingredients in the Raleigh’s Best roll were fresh and the flavors meshed perfectly. This is me being nit-picky, but the wasabi did not seem to be strong. The spice and kick were very subtle. The Salmon Chirashi (not pictured) is just as beautiful as it is in the picture, and the taste matches the appearance. Once again, all the ingredients were super fresh and meshed well together. In the end, you pay through your phone using the text that they send you. The person-to-person service is very minimal, but it seems to work well. For the quality of the food, I believe that my money was well spent! I will definitely be back to try more!

I had high hopes given the reviews Unfortunately, I had issues from the moment I ordered The sushi I ordered did not reflect what she had put in the system So I was confused on the total She said “ oh sorry this is the wrong pricing” on this menu and removed it from the counter So they had a sushi menu on the counter top with false pricing Ok whatever I still purchased

The young lady taking my order wasnt knowledgeable about items I was ordering and as a new customer of course I have questions due to dietary restrictions But she was completely clueless. OK fine. I specifically told her i wanted the chicken sandwich PLAIN Got our food the sandwich had hot sauce on it, kids can’t eat it. Fine, they offer to make another one , wait almost 10 min to tell me they are out of chicken sandwiches and will give refund after that point I’m already done with my food and my kids havent ate I expressed how I specifically told the girl we didn’t want anything on the sandwich other than the bread and chicken

The girl kept laughing and rolling her eyes I just said it could have all been avoided and and fine I’ll take the refund as I have no other choice The short bald man approaches me in a hostile mannerism and I told him I’ll take the refund that’s fine, but I expressed to him how we’ve been sitting here waiting forever only to tell me there’s no more chicken sandwiches and it could’ve been avoided when I simply told the girl that we didn’t want anything on the sandwich I asked for a receipt showing that they gave me a refund and he couldn’t provide one to me and I told him that I needed to see one He steps up close to me aggressively DIRECTLY steps to my face and I tell him that he needs to back up

I’m really not sure how any of these people don’t understand something so simple Nor did I understand the need for this man to get in my face but I’m sure if they pull the cameras they can see what he did and it was completely uncalled for and I was being VERY reasonable 530 pm 2/17/25 check the cameras

I am calling my bank and WILL be getting an entire refund that I can be sure of and never will give business...
