Saturday, 3/18/2022 - We tried Famous Burgers & Brews. Address is 3101 Zinfandel Dr, Ste 132, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. There were a few other restaurants next to it. But we saw a long line in there thinking "its gotta be good to have such a long line", so decided to try their gourmet burgers. Upon arrival:
Pros:
Cons:
Conclusion: We liked this restaurant! Burger was bomb! They had a lot of stuff to pick from. I saw they had wine, if you like wine. I plan to go there again to try more things. Staffs were nice and professional. Bathroom was clean. Restaurant is...
Read moreI placed an online order on April 8, 2025, for $311.18, charged to my corporate card to be delivered to officel in Rancho Cordova. The order was delivered as requested, but a receipt was never provided or emailed to us. Despite my repeated efforts, including emails and phone calls, the issue remains unresolved. I emailed the restaurant via contact us twice and never got a response. I called the restaurant and was informed they only keep the receipts for 10 days. When I asked to talk to a manager, the customer service hung up. I called back, and no one answered. I called back the next day and got the same response again. This time, I was told that the company that manages the deliveries kept the receipts. The customer service promised to call me back to help with the receipt request, but she never did. I looked at the restaurant webpage and found Stumptown, which I also emailed but never got an answer. I am located in Vancouver, WA, and the restaurant is in California. I asked my manager to go to the restaurant to request the receipt. The restaurant staff didn't want to help her, and when she asked for the manager, they gave her the Stumptown link. The lack of customer service and rudeness dumbfounds me. I wouldn't have to to such ordeal if a receipt was provided by the time of delivery or via email, none ever happen. Your restaurant's food might be good, but the lack of customer service overrides any...
Read moreAmazing burgers and great customer service. We spent a long time talking with the (very patient) owner before ordering. My non-beef loving fiance got the Mediterranean chicken sandwich and I got a lettuce- wrapped Angus beef burger. Both were very tasty. Just as an fyi: They are currently developing their own gluten free buns (their own recipe to be baked in house), and they should be available soon.
Updating my review: We went back two years later, and it is still good! Had a gluten free bun with my burger, and our friends had fries and onion rings with their food, and everything was great. I can still recommend this place.
Here again a year after my last update. We took family here who thought we were going to the chain Burgers and Brew. They were very glad that they were wrong. I honestly think this place has just gotten better over time and the prices are about what you'd spend at Five Guys with much better quality food.
Updating my review: we still really look forward to eating here! They have expanded their menu to include many more items. Hubby got the shrimp burger and enjoyed it. I think they now use Udi's GF buns. There are now a lot more fried items so I'd really avoid their french fries if you are concerned about gluten and cross contamination. I recommend upgrading to the wagyu patty if you're getting...
