DO NOT EAT/ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! If I could give No stars I would!

I called Soho Sushi because I was missing the Spider roll from my $53.04 order. I spoke with the manager Jayne who told me she checked and put all the items in the bags. I proceeded to inform her again "I was missing the spider roll". "I don't have it". Now 1 of 2 things happened, they did Not make the item, or simply forgot about it, or the dasher driver stole my food. When I mentioned this to the manager Jayne she told me "she didn't think the driver stole my food". I advised her again, I didn't have the missing item and I would like a refund. She offered to make the item and I would have to pick it up. Unacceptable! Then she told me there's nothing she can do and to go on the dasher app and complain. It's unacceptable and a BIG inconvenience for me to go pick up a $5 dollar missing item. Where is the customer service at when you make a mistake? Make it right! I spent $53.04 and because of the way I was treated, and called a liar, I would like a Full refund for the Entire inconvenience! This is time consuming! I had to take time out of my busy schedule to make a phone call to Soho Sushi to report a $5 missing item, and then to speak with a manger who told me I was lying about not receiving it, because she made sure she put everything in the bag, and the driver didn't take it. I'm very frustrated (to say it nicely) and insulted by this poor, poor service I received. It's the principle of the matter! You should never call your customers a liar! Due to the HORRIBLE service I endured I would like a full refund! I will never eat here again and I will certainly...

Terrible food and service. Parking is mostly "30 minutes only" or reserved, and it takes 30 minutes to get our order. Our waiters changed constantly (4 times) and never once asked if we needed anything. In fact they avoided our table. If they did help us, they gave us what we needed and then ran off, before we could ask for more help. Anything fried is not fried all the way, very doughy and chewy. Our rolls did not taste fresh, in fact tasted like they sat a good day out in the open because they were very dry. Soup is boiling, too hot to even touch. Plastic tea pot spills constantly when being used, and our waiter refused to give us more than just 2 extra napkins. After shareing with one of our waiters that we wanted our checks and we were not happy with the food and service, he said "oh. Ok." And didnt even care to ask why. He dropped our check on our table and again ran off to ignore us once more. We barely ate anything because the rolls were too dry to even stomach. Manager was nice enough to charge us for the tea, 1 roll, and an appetizer, after we shared our displeasure in everything that happened. Please get better waiters, and faster made orders, we were starving by the time 20 minutes came after we ordered. We should have got up and left right then and there to go to a...

Messing up orders, super long waits. It's ridiculous. Not ordering again. I feel nauseous 🤢 every time I eat their sushi. I gave to wait forever to simply pick up an order. When I asked for a refund because the sushi wasn't made, they told me I have to call the manager to request a refund. Ridiculous. Waiters that come to front desk ate rude and on the phone. I was reading the reviews and their "owner" responds to many of these reviews rudely or with a life. The owner calls people that have worked their before and saying that their reviews are not sincere. Looks very unprofessional form the owner side. The owner also respond to the reviews saying that the Waiting for someone at the front desk is not typical but it really is. I always stand there fir a very long time. And if I isn't pay dor the order online I would have just left today was just a pushing point because they were rude and slow 1.5 hours for a 20 minute pick up order is not okay. I have made a decision to never come here again. There I'd a nice sushi place across the block by Starbucks. Better quality and service at the other place.

Don't go to...

Came here for the first time with some friends who recommended it. Everything was great. The server was very nice and accommodating. We started with spicy garlic edamame-delish! Quite spicy and garlic is strong, so fair warning. I had the salmon poke salad and the portion was big and very satisfying. Everything was very fresh and tasty. I also ordered the Jenny - a riceless roll with spicy tuna and crab. It was great. Because there is no rice, I would not have been full without my salad. Next time, I will order the Jenny and a smaller poke salad. My friends had a variety of rolls and salads. The waitress seemed a little busy and forgot to bring an item we ordered, so we just cancelled it. Other than that, everything was fine. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be back.

The new revamped menu is pretty awesome. I suggest trying the Baked rolls, the lion King is good, but not $15 dollars good. If you want to see what this place is about, go during 2pm - 6pm, it's their happy hour. Edit: July/2021 Its been a while since I visited this place because I moved out of Sac. The quality had really gone down compared to so many sushi places in the area. Ordered th Baked Salmon and it was missing so many ingredients. Hardly worth the $10 paid. Their excuse was that they are super busy, and solution was if I come back they will give me individual containers of sauce. How about I can return with the food and you can remake it? I'm not gonna drive 20 minutes for some Sriracha mixed with mayo. GTFOH!

Bottom line up front: The restaurant staff is friendly and well meaning, but they appear overwhelmed, you might be waiting for a while. The restaurant could use a good cleaning...I def experienced sticky floors. That being said, the food is awesome! (And well worth the wait) I ordered the Godzilla roll (I recommend), which was a tasty combination of different fish (I think Tuna and Scallops) and the St. Petersburg. The rolls' rice was cooked to perfection, and the texture was spot on: crunchy when it was supposed to be, and soft when it was supposed to be. Wife had the Spider roll and the Golden roll. Her only complaint was that the Golden roll had too much tempura.
