Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Hat has become an iconic staple to the surrounding cities stretching all over Southern California. The Hat has had loyal followers that are willing to travel to full fill their cravings for the chili cheese fries or their famous pastrami. Once you've had a pastrami, your hooked. Ive been hooked for over 40+ years. Give them a try and see what tens of thousands of people are talking about. Update: The Hat is still as popular as ever. No masks required. Definitely no 6' ft distancing going on there. Food is still tge bomb, just a little more pricey these days. Then again what isn't these days. So basically nothing has changed, back to business as usual. Update #2: no change here. The Hat actually seems busier now than before. Service is quick and friendly. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is busy, noisy and like usual, have to wait for a seat unless you want to sit outside. I choose the drive-thru. Never gonna stop coming here. Try it... Update: just recently went to pick-up a late night snack after a hockey game. Nothing has changed. Staff are friendly and great. Food is on point as usual. Just watch when you go, the time of day. My last visit was mid evening and it was extremely packed but they do service...

Another thing to be aware of is whenever you ask for extra of anything (chili on fries, etc.) they look at you like "why are you like this" I get that they are busy but sometimes they do skimp on the portions. There's always a lot of fries but not so much of the...
