Review date : March 8,2025. Saturday. Not a good experience at all! First & the last time here. I am comparing with other Long Horn Stake house experience vs this one. (Check my review for other LongHorn) Moderate service but bad food exoerience. We won't go back again! I don't know if we were profiled or actually the steak house is like this!? The Steak we ordered was The "LongHorn Porterhouse". Asked to do it medium well for both my wife & me. My one came very well done & my wife's came in between rare & medium well. She had to stop eating in the middle when it went closer to the bone! Top of that both steak was too salty! When I told our server Shawn in the very beginning after our first bite about not liking them for too salty. His blunt reply was " oh, we put seasonings boldly" WOW! Really??? So the customer has no say on the seasoning. Then after a few more bites we found the steaks were not done as we asked & desired. Again asked Shawn & he answered yes they are medium well as you have asked. His attitude was; as if we were first timers & don’t know about steak...! So we are never going back to waste our hard earned money on a bold seasoned Salty & undesired cooked steak! Our orders were, 'Fire Grilled Corn on the Cob' as my side, again very burnt, dry & bare minimum to no butter on that. (See picture) 'Loaded potato' for my wife, which was okay. Had 'Shrimp & Lobster Chowder' (to minimize the salts on steaks). The soup was very liquid instead of thick gravy and the taste was way off! We ordered a 'Parmesan Crusted Chicken' meal for our daughter and that was good, the 'Steakhouse Mac & Cheese' was also good. Asked our server to request the chef not to put any extra salt on our next order & ordered for 'Wild West Shrimp'. It was way sour for the pickled jalapenos. Very disappointing.. Ordered a Molten Lava Cake, which was good in taste and the only thing I & my wife enjoyed. Also our server forgot to bring paper napkins after asking for them twice. Very very disappointing experience! We even waited for a long time for our server to refill our drinks & water. He was not around most of our stay time. Either Shawn ruined it for us or actually the chef is new & didn't listen to orders properly & has no sense of salts! Therefore I recommend not to go there if you really want to have a great experience of steaks & steakhouse foods! And, if you have love your money. Read moreInitially I sent my husband to get us on the list for a party of 20. He was completely turned away and told by Valerie young lady with glasses that they dying take parties2 that large. Her exact words verbatim. My husband comes home we go back get on the list of was told it would be about 90 minutes. We leave wait for text. I get text at 614 pm. This celebration is for my son 12th birthday and my niece graduating high school. We checked on for 18 people even tho we needed more I said 18 because we didn't want to be turned sway again. When I go the text we rushed their more then half of our party was hey already. When I arrive I was within the 5 minutes of the text then I immediately got a text the said we are canceled. We are all standing upfront entire party and they call a big party of more then 10 the was waiting on the bar area a white family they walked passed us and was seated. Our seats I ask the Valerie why are you giving them our seats. She blatantly lies and says it was 4 members of our party only and the wag not true. We watched them seat this other family after waiting over an hour then had to wait another 45 minutes after they seated this other family. I 💯 percent feel discriminated against because she could have legit sat us and chose to be ugly and really had nothin to say about being awful in this manner. We exchanged words but nothing heated we waited patiently and was sat. Our servers ebony and reyna helped to get things back in track. I work on it food industry so I understand how over worked and under paid servers can be. They deserve a raise a promotion because they was fabulous checks on us worked hard to get things in order. I spoke to Abu and explained the situation and he said out of his own mouth this the front has been turning guest away. I live minutes from the steak house and i frequent often never had a bad experience until now. I also spend good money to eat well regular and family dinners often here. It's hurtful how they openly didn't seat us initially turned us away and acted as if nothing was the matter. I've requested to speak to the general manager Chris barto. I was told he'd be in Saturday so I'll follow up. This was very dismissive and we feel cheated. If you've never experienced this kind of treatment you may not understand but those that look like us know all about it and it sucks is tiring...
Read moreServer Kristian was great! Longhorn was a terrible experience. I don’t know how this place is so busy. We were quoted 45 minutes. After an hour I asked how much longer, I was told 30 minutes. After 40 minutes we asked the irritated & rude curly hair host how much longer & she said “oh you were texted 30 minutes ago” (they took my phone # digits out of order) but even though they saw me sit there, they never called my name. Fine, they sat us on the 1st booth on the right as you walk in. Food took another hour to be served. The booth seat is broken so anytime either you or the person behind you moves it is felt by the other person. So I was constantly being shook in my seat. The old lady behind me may have thought I was moving on purpose (I wasn’t) so she started jumping in her seat moving our whole booth seat. I couldn’t believe it. Meanwhile all the smokers coming from the patio area are walking in, creating a casino smell like ambiance. The bread plates were dirty with stuck on food from prior use. My family’s food was okay. But, my salmon, rice & potato was beyond salty. I couldn’t eat it. I think the cook dropped the salt shaker over my food. The whole time, our server apologizing for something out of his control. Although he promised the manager was advised of the situation & would be coming to speak with us, they never showed up. I don’t understand why so many people enjoy the loud overcrowded environment & lack of quality in a simple dish. Not to mention the place is dirty. The mirror over our table was so dirty & dusty. We don’t mind paying for good food or tipping, but this was just a terrible experience & gross dinner for me. We won’t be returning, bad vibes just not worth the wait. Waste of money & waste of 3+...
