Mr. J's Donut House — Restaurant in Redlands

I can't overstate how much I love this shop. My wife and I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did. Many years ago, there was a donut shop called donut kastle (not in california), and they produced a creme filled donut the likes of which I had never before tasted. Since that time I have searched high and low for a donut shop in california that could make this specific creme filled donut. I went near to insanity trying to find this donut of donuts, only to have my hopes dashed each time. Then, after what seemed like eons, I randomly walk into this store to behold the donut of my dreams. It looked the part, and I was skeptical, however hopeful, this would finally be the solution to my creme filled donut drought and an answer to endless prayers. I don't like many donuts but I like this enough to drive 45 minutes to get some from mr. J's Donuts. He's a nice guy but he also has a couple of things that I'm crazy about namely the mini cream filled, chocolate drizzled puffs. Second favor or the mini lemon filled Puffs covered in powdered sugar. The rest of his selections are very good except I am not fond of buttercream and he has a chocolate buttercream filled donut. I love this place. The donuts are always light and fresh. Sooo good! My daughter always gets a boba tea, and we even pick up a few egg rolls for later. Delicious!!

They are also next to an adorable pet shop--Daryl's. You can tell that they take good care of their animals there, because it doesn't smell like a pet shop. It smells clean, because they keep all the animals cages clean. They also take them out and play with them, so they are more socialized and used...
