I always have trouble going into this location. Either somehow they don’t understand what I’m trying to order and have to ask me to repeat myself 10 times, or they are just very slow. But what makes me not want to ever come back, was yesterday, I was shopping and saw they were open. There was about 3-4 people inside, and they were all taking orders and making drinks. As soon as I start to walk up to the door, some girl stops making a drink, runs from behind the counter and turns off the open sign. Then without even the courtesy of opening the door to speak with me, she just shakes her head and says “we’re already closed” and just walks away. Now, everyone including the customers in the store and the people behind the counter just stared at me. Even as I got back in my car they all just stared at me and it was so embarrassing and humiliating. It was the rudest most ridiculous thing ever, because obviously the registers were not shut down and the drinks were still being made. I did not notice it was 7:58, because the sign said open. While I understand, it’s not my fault you forgot to turn off the sign, and to run and turn it off in my face and tell me to leave in front of people and then stare at me like I’m some crazy person was just unacceptable and awful. Me and my friends will never return here for the rudeness, as this has never happened before and my...
Read moreSharetea in Redmond Town Center was a new exploration for us, although we're no strangers to the Sharetea brand. We decided to venture into this area, including trying out Sharetea and Kizuki Ramen. Finding parking was a breeze, with ample free spots available even during the busy weekend lunch rush. Upon arrival, there was no line, allowing us to place our orders promptly. The staff were friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu and various topping options.
Sharetea has always been one of those boba brands that doesn't break the bank, offering a wide range of tea options. I was particularly pleased to discover they offered a no-ice option, perfect for someone like me who can't handle cold drinks well. Opting for my go-to Oolong tea, I noticed that Sharetea has its own distinct flavor profile. The pearls were generously portioned, adding to the overall enjoyment of the drink. While the wait time was short during our visit, it's worth noting that this may have been due to the lack of other customers at that time.
Overall, Sharetea in Redmond Town Center is a solid boba spot in a convenient location. While the drinks may not necessarily elicit a "wow" factor, they're consistent with what you'd expect from most boba stores. If you find yourself in the area and in need of a refreshing beverage, Sharetea is definitely worth...
Read moreI've been waiting for this place to open since I saw that "coming soon" sign outside the window at Redmond Town Center!!!! Soft Opening starts tomorrow 3/15/2017 & the grand opening is on 3/19/2017 (Beware - Expect lines for these few weeks!).
I was able to check out this Sharetea during one of the soft opening days and I was super excited to walk into the smell of freshly made tapioca. The inside of the store is a little smaller than I expected - the cashier counter/bubble tea making area took up 2/3 of the area. There were a couple of tables/chairs where people could sit at, but it seemed more like a "order out" bubble tea place.
The employees are super friendly - I was greeted with a bunch of smiles and they ensured that we were taken care of.
[This was their first week opening so I took everything with a grain of salt] I ordered my usual of the Classic Milk Tea with 50% - it tasted more like a 100% sugar, so that kind of threw me off. It did take them sometime to bring out my drinks, but they're probably still figuring out the process. The tapioca was perfecto - nice & chewy but not too chewy where it's like gum :D
I'll for sure come back to Sharetea in a week or so, since they need some time to work out the kinks. :)
Get ready Redmond - Sharetea will fill your...
