good chicken shawarma -
I haven't had a shawarma or gyro for centuries, and for some reason I decided it's time to try this place with a high rating. It's a small shop that was previously Sharetea. The space is small inside and doesn't fit a lot of people, but it was just us dining at that time for a Friday lunch.
My husband ordered the beef and lamb shawarma plate for $16.99 and I got the chicken shawarma for $12.95. The plate has more food and tons of rice, but I enjoyed mine more. With the sauce in the shawarma, the chicken wasn't dry and everything matched well. I also enjoyed the special blend of garlic sauce that it came with. It's definitely more on the yogurt/sour side.
My husband's plate has tons of rice but the meat tasted dry, so I wasn't a fan. It might be a good value, but I enjoyed my chicken shawarma more.

Read moreNice plating for a to go place with limited dining area. My chicken shawarma, especially with the garlic sauce was delicious but the sauce in the wrap was inconsistent and the chicken dryer than I would have like. I didn’t try the beef and lamb but was surprised with the nicer plating. Was expecting paper plates.
Note on my rating system: Sharing this as I believe many might assume a 3-star review indicates a negative experience.
5 stars: Exceptional! Outstanding food, service, and/or experience—well worth traveling for. (For example, we often drive from San Antonio to Austin just for Uchi.) 4 stars: Surpasses expectations in terms of food, service, and/or ambiance. 3 stars: Solidly good or meets expectations. I would revisit any place rated 3 stars or higher. 2 stars: Falls below acceptable standards for food or service. 1 star:...
Read moreA saving grace in Redmond’s food scene. Having lived around the area for years, and Ben let down by the mediocre food scene, The last thing I expected was finding a decent kebab joint. I tried this place that popped up about five months ago Because I was really missing the kebab I had in Europe. I gotta say I’m wowed, This is comparable to authentic kebab joints abroad. Chicken shawarma, chicken kebab, and lamb gyros were all fantastic and the owner does not skimp on portions. Way better than garlic crush or any other competitors around the area. The value and price point just cannot be beat. I might start eating here every day! Had to write this review, not even halfway through my meal because it was that good huh. The only thing that will make this place even more amazing would be if they added onions in...
