Starkey's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach

The worst customer service! The guy with red face (manager/owner?) yelled at me because I did not want to deal with his employee's mistake. I just wanted a scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone. The girl told me that in order to get a cone, I had to get 3 scoops. I said nevermind then, I'll take 1 scoop in a plastic cup. The girl went to get it and handed me the cup. My friend asked what's the smallest amount of ice cream she could get. I showed her my cup, saying this is 1 scoop. The girl then said no this is 2 scoops. I was confused why 2 and the girl said because this is the minimum they can sell. If she told me that upfront, I would have gotten 2 different flavors. At that point the guy with red face walked in and started yelling at me saying 'come on, she DID tell u that, she is my best employee, and if you don't like something, you can leave.' He was not present for the conversation, so he just chose to escalate the situation instead of fixing the ice...

We were at the ice cream part, we got the cookie dough chocolate chip & cookies and cream and I tried the snow cone rainbow. Boy did it help alot in that heat! Totally worth the extra dollar or two you're paying cause of location.
