Chrome Coffee Works is hands-down my new favorite spot!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles, chill vibes, and that incredible fresh coffee aroma that instantly tells you you’re in the right place. But the real standout? The chai.

I’ve had chai from all over—big cities, cozy cafes, even homemade—but nothing hits quite like the one at Chrome. It’s perfectly spiced, creamy without being too heavy, and has this smooth, comforting warmth that just wraps you up. You can taste the care that goes into every cup.

The atmosphere is modern yet welcoming, with plenty of cozy seating, fast Wi-Fi, and even better playlists. Whether you’re meeting a friend, grinding out some work, or just vibing solo, this place delivers.

There's a lot of coffee shops around nowadays. Most every coffee shop has good coffee and decent food. Chrome has both, with their food options coming from local bakeries which is a + for me. What makes Chrome my favorite shop as of late is the execution of a vision/vibe/experience that nowhere else in Reno has. Much different from the sad beige + plants in most spots, Chrome feels like your favorite classic diner was brought into the future, retaining all of the style and welcoming vibe without the kitschiness and grime that normally comes with. The music is always right, and when there's someone dj'ing or playing vinyl, the vibe is right. I could spend 12 hours here 🤠

mediocre beans tbh... asked for a latte with less milk than normal so i can actually get the flavor of the espresso... and now i have a cup and a half of watery milk ($6.50 btw), so not the morning i had hoped for. atmosphere is really cool in there and it's in a great building, but honestly the energy from the staff wasnt making me want to stick around, they just seemed very short and disinterested. ill come back in a while and hopefully get some new friendly faces and try their espresso by itself but honestly probably not, theres lots of other better...
