Unfortunately, I had two back-to-back issues with food orders here. I usually come at night due to work, but during a few weeks and my shifts changed and I ate once in the afternoon with my family starting a road trip and another in the morning on my own and the food first time was HORRIBLE, most stale and old stuff I've eaten at a McD; 2nd was a wrong order. I asked to speak to a supervisor with my receipts and a lady by the name of Macarena or something came out looking very unprofessional and unclean with complete disatisfaction on her face. I told her of the two issues and she said first one I needed to go back and return the food (as mentioned we were on a road trip and didn't want to go back just for that, we didn't even finish the food and trashed it at our next stop) and the 2nd one, I needed to also bring it in, even though I showed her a picture of the wrong item vs what I ordered. She was so rude and dismissive and didn't deserve the management title because she just gave me the McD drink cup and told me to call the number and talk to customer service to "see" if something could be done. I've had minor issues with food in the past like missing items, etc, and managers will usually give me a voucher with food credit or free item, etc, and are truly handling the situation. Macarena did not. Unfortunately, the only good time to come here for a meal is at night where the customer service is definitely better and the food seems to be surprisingly fresher. There's an African American guy who's super personable, not very professional, but himself, and he's so fun to chat with and very respectful, always saying the word "sir" and it's because of him and the other night staff that I keep coming to this place only at night now. I'm very disappointed in Macarena and hope people don't follow in her foot steps. My first job was at a McDonalds and it was the most fun job to date, and she obviously doesn't like her job. I also have work in customer service and management for over 5 years now and would've never treated someone the way she did based on...
Read moreI have been visiting this location since I was in high school which was a very long time ago. We called it "Tri-State" as their was a small Taco Bell located in between McDonalds and Jack in the Box. Circa 1999... I digress...
Pre-Covid, this McDonalds was truly 24 hours/7 days a week. The service was as to be expected, this was when the dollar menu actually had food items that were a dollar. Now this place is hit or miss. You roll the dice here in Reno or whether or not the fast food Mickeys D's is even open. This has happened to me now several times over. I review the hours, they state 24 hours. This McDonalds is NOT 24 hours. The Drive-Thru is not 24 hours. The Lobby is not 24 hours. I placed my large order via the app for a mobile order. This order was for five guys and all of us had quite the late night appetite. Upon arriving at the Drive-Thru the gentleman with a middle eastern accent sarcasticly, chuckling states "we are closed!" I explained my situation in that I had already placed my order and paid for the order. The gentleman repeated himself. "We are closed, do you no understand?" He rudely exclaimed... I could then hear him mumbling under his breath cursing at me. I was dumbfounded as to not only why I was being rudely but also was confused why I wasn't able to pick up my paid order. I then proceeded to the drive thru window where the employee ignored my attempts to speak with him. I waited 20 minutes at the window patiently to no avail. I am terribly disappointed in this franchise as were my friends as well. We were all looking forward to that late nite McDonalds Fast Food. My friends and I wasted almost $50 in food we did not receive. This cannot be proven and perhaps is far fetched, but it almost seemed like I was being had by this employee. He gets all of this free food knowing it's been paid for and just tells me the customer they are closed. In return, he has hit the jackpot in food. I wonder if he has done this before with other customers. Tsk...
Read moreWish I could give this location 0 stars but won’t allow you to. Worst McDonald’s location I’ve ever been to! Every time I go to this location they have something wrong whether that’s out of meet, not accepting cards, only have a couple things available on the menu or the employees acting absolutely terrible with their customer service. Since this location is on my l way home from work decided to try it one more time, I pull up to the 24 hour drive thru with cars waiting in line to get their food but both lines to order are blocked by road blocks the employees put up. After waiting on the side of the road block by where you order for a couple minutes an employee comes out with a skateboard and says he won’t take my order. I ask why since there’s cars waiting in line to get their food and he just keeps yelling that he won’t take my order and that I’m on video.. no idea why he would mention that but ended up going across the road and had great customer service at Wendy’s and was really quick to get my order to me. overall worst McDonald’s location I’ve ever been to and terrible employees and work ethic at this location, definitely won’t be going back. Much better options with Jack in the box in the same parking lot or Wendy’s and in n out right...
