Nick's Greek Deli — Restaurant in Reno

Let me start by, all the times I've got Gyros here they have been good. Fair prices. Edible. Not today on January 27 2023 around noon got 2 Gyros. What a disappointment. The meat was so over cooked and dried out. The pita was so over cooked, crunchy and falling apart. I would have Never served those Gyros. I called the restaurant and talked to a lady to let her know how disappointed we were. She said to bring food back and told her we were on the other side of town, wasn't going to drive back there on a Friday. I told her I have pictures to show how over cooked it was.Instead of handling it by taking care her customer she got rude and told me not to come back. She don't have to worry about that. I won't be back.She also made a comment about you only pay $7 dollar. You are the one that price your food.Does that mean I should be fine about a sandwich that was subpar. It really doesnt matter if the price is $7, $10 or $20, it should be Edible. Word of advise you need to learn to take criticism, correct what is wrong and take care of your customers. At 12:05 on January 6, a short heavier set woman with brown hair was exceptionally rude to me. I went inside, there was no employees in sight, so I used the restroom. Seeing the sign that said "for customers only", I then went to their soda fridge and before I even had the door open all the way she put her hand on the door to prevent me from opening it. She said "Sorry but we don't have a public bathroom" in a snoody tone. After informing her that I had already used the restroom she proceeded to say "well we dont accept one dollar payments on card, so have a good day" I thought it was pretty funny she assumed I was using a card and that she just absolutely needed to put some sort of fault on me regardless of how small the situation was or the fact that there was no fault to be had. I look kind of young so I kinda think she assumed I was a teenager, regardless the way she decided to engage with me was downright...

Absolutely blown away by Nick’s Geek Deli truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like family and instantly feel at home in the cozy, friendly atmosphere.

The pastrami sandwich was hands-down one of the best I’ve had, packed with flavor and perfectly done. The burger was a totally different twist from your usual burger, but still insanely good unique and delicious in every way. And don’t even get me started on the chicken sandwiches absolutely on point.

Every item we tried was amazing, and you can tell everything is made with care and creativity. Nick’s Geek Deli is a spot you’ll want to keep going back to 5 stars...
