Shanty Dolan's — Restaurant in Reno

This little spot sits just off downtown Reno and feels instantly easy to settle into. It’s the kind of bar where you can kick back with friends, post up solo, or wander in for just one (nice try) and end up staying longer. The backbar is stacked; there’s always some random bottle you haven’t tried yet.... and they keep Guinness on tap. You’ll usually catch something fun from Russian River too, like Pliny or Blind Pig, which is a solid bonus.

Absolutely incredible how they’ve transformed this building from the dingy place it was into the bright, vibrant interior that had been hidden beneath years of neglect. Gosh we LOVE this place and have been trying really hard with the recent staff changes, but tonight's service was super rough and we are sad because this is usually our happy hour happy place. Also, they were totally out of lemons & limes for cocktails, which was a bummer. Fingers crossed they figure it out again, we have hope!!!! Stay tuned...
