I went as my solo traveler self and watched everyone in action like I always do. Songs were raunchy choices no one else nor I seemed to care. Vibe seemed like the locals and bartenders were the life of the party. Everyone else was low prioritized .The issue is the sound and the snobiness of the bartenders. There were two mics -one you barely heard anyone sing on, and the other one was way too loud. When It was my turn I made sure to ask for the loud mic anyway because at least you can hear and gave enough tip that I really didnāt think asking for the better mic would be a problem. But when I asked the bartender he denied me that opportunity. He said no āthe one I had was the loud oneā even though someone had just stopped singing on the very mic I wanted and he didnāt want to give it to me . Weird. The guy singing didnāt even try to hand it over either even though I was clearly asking for it and it was my turn. well on my turn you could barely hear anything as I anticipated would happen and I just wanted to walk away in the middle of the song. Nonetheless I pulled through the weirdness and on the next turn he gave the good mic to a local and low and behold it was loud again. No one claps unless youāre a local and Iāve never been in an environment like that where everyone was actually pretty rude . If youāre not a local not one person claps or cheers which Iāve never encountered at a karaoke bar. My seat at the bar had a sticky mess the bartenders didnāt even want to clean and didnāt. I didnāt complain but I felt so out of place unfortunately. I wouldnāt want anyone to be made feel like they arenāt wanted but thatās exactly how I felt for the first time in my years of solo travel. I def do...

I don't know what is wrong with some of these reviews this is a fantastic bar the bartenders are incredible the older gentlemen was quick and sweet and the bouncers where firm but bubbly which is understandable these guys have to handle really annoying drunks and cranky Karen's who just want to sing but doesn't realize there are like 400 people thier even if 1/4 want to sing that's a 4 and a half hour late but I really enjoyed the tall blonde man at the back he was a gentleman very sweet he caught me trying to sneak out a drink but instead of being rude he just explained it to me I came back after visiting tonic and I will say that this bar is 100x better but I digress there was an instance where this guy was trying to get into the ladys room and one of the bartenders stopped him but he picked a fight with him then out of nowhere my tally came and lifted him up by his arms and got him outta thier i felt so safe here but i did try to stay after closing but the dj just had my tally tell me to leave which he did apologize and then allowed me to finish my drink and use the ladies room I will be definitely recommending this bars to my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you can get past the humid stench and get a drink, the prices were decent, the staff was very kind and accommodating, the persons there were also kind. But if you wanna sing, GOOD LUCK. Karaoke is first come first serve and all the regulars put in there songs in, there is no real rotation on singers. I noticed that if you tip big you could "POSSIBLY" get moved ahead. Also i feel the DJ was avoiding my sister and I. The only to people of color in the place. When he called her name 3hrs into waiting, he tried to over look her and skip to the next person. I put my song in right after her and have had eight others go infront of me. When asking the dj when i was up next, he responded very smirkish. Im writing this as i wait, but we put our songs in at 11pm and...
